Thanks Steve. He's right too. :-)

I agree Jean - It is essential for survival !

Did you ever notice Steve that the moviemakers produced Carz and Planez but not trainz. Thomas got a jump on the franchise!.

I never noticed that, but you are right! Good observation Mike.

You are like the Wealthy Affiliate lab microscope! When we all see the surface, you take the time to adjust the lens on the microscope and tell us what is beneath the surface.

Impressive talent my friend!

Oh Thanks Steve. Nothing matches your dedication my friend.

I would argue that point with you Mike....but I know I would lose. Your logic is too undebatable !

Hi Steve,
He was a very funny guy!! I enjoyed his stand up routines. He was a really intelligent man. Today's kids don't know what they've missed. Thanks for the memories.
Mary

Thanks, Mary. He also did a voice-over for the Thomas The Train series which both of our grandchildren grew up with.

I will go to YouTube and check him out

I think you will enjoy him.

He was the real deal. Time to go to YouTube for some George Carlin. Thanks, Steve. :)

Rest well my friend and enjoy George. Think I will go do the same thing !

We can all start taking ourrselves to seriously, thank you Steve.

Something George could remind us of and make us laugh at the same time!

Thanks Alexander !

Have a wonderful weekend!

What a versatile person. He will be sorely missed.

That is an extremely good description Mike. From comedy to voice over for Thomas The Train. A VERY talented person, who seem to live life to the fullest !

He was funny. I remember the bit about walk lights at street corners being timed for gazelles.

I remember that one also it was hilarious !

Good comedian.

Amen

Right up my alley, Steve. There's an opener, if I ever heard one! (I liked Carlin, too-A place for your stuff, hippy dippy weatherman, the 7 words)

He was an amazing comedian. He also did voice over on Thomas the Train !

That I didn't know.

Our grandchildren grew up with Thomas The Train. Ringo Starr also did voice-overs for the series !

That I do remember.

Now that I have soaked myself in George Carlin, like Mike I am going to have to go to YouTube to see some clips !

It's been a while. I got an Ernie Kovacs tape at a yard sale. He was way ahead of his time!

I completely forgot about the cigar man ! And the there was George Burns and Gracy Allen. Are we going back into time or what !

Get into the way back machine, Sherman. :)

Now we are moving further and further back. Aesop's fables?

The grapes were probably sour anyway! But, not the Scotch.

Heck, I can't remember my middle name most of the time, and now I am going back more than 60 years! Maybe tomorrow I will recall meeting Christopher Columbus,

Will let you know how that turns out :-)

OK, is it: In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue, or...in 1493, Columbus sailed the deep blue sea? I just don't know.

Oh great, now I will be up all night trying to figure this one out. I am gonna need a nap tomorrow !

Ringo used to do Thomas the Tank Engine.

Columbus wasn't the first person to discover America either.

I knew that ! It was Mork............Nanu Nanu :-)

I always thought that was cool !

It was Fred Flinstone, jeez don't you know your American history?

Now I remember Yaba Daba Doo :-)
