Particularly for new members for but equally helpful to others I hope!

Today I used the Time Blocking technique to focus with laser intensity on the training.

As most of you know, I am recycling myself thru WA training from the beginning course. It is amazing what I missed during the first attempt to speed read the courses and lessons to "get to the good parts." Ironically by doing this, I missed all the good parts! This time, I paid VERY close attention to what Kyle said in the videos and when something needed to be "done" (this is where he gives you information or asks you to do something), I STOPPED AND DID IT. If the instruction was to look at a website, that is what I did. If it was to go to Site Manager and make a change to the back side of my site, I stopped the tape, followed what he did and made the changes. I made sure not to miss a single step.

Although I know it would appear to be counterintuitive not to do this, somehow in the first time thru the training I got lost in the adventure and just assumed it would all turn out ok. My Bad! This time, I took in every line and every word of the training and if I missed something or did not understand something I backed up the video. If I had a question, I looked at the comments section to see if anyone else had the same question. By the way, when I did this I noticed that a significant number of members were asking questions which were already covered in the video or the written narrative of the course. This would lead me to believe (that much like me) people were not reading or listening. Because if they had done both, there would be no need to ask many of the questions posed.

Also, I noticed people asking, "how soon can I expect to make money." This question popped up on the second lesson of Course 1! The same question we see on the dashboard frequently. Of course, this is putting the cart several miles before the horse! I presume that some of these people were under the misconception that WA is a site where you can do minimal work and make huge sums of money. Wrong. However, the training and the experience in the community are worth every penny spent and every minute invested. There is in fact so much information that it is or can be overwhelming. Kyle gave this warning several times in his presentation for a reason. What is the remedy to information overload? FOLLOW THE PLAN. I cannot overemphasize this enough. The "everything is here mantra" is not just a trite phrase seen on the dashboard blogs and in the training modules. It is a TRUTH.

For the first time in WA (yes I am a little slow...I am also a little old) I found the training "entertaining" as well as instructional. The four hours I spent dedicated to training today flew by!

I will stop before I start to ramble, in the unlikely event I have not already done that! In your welcome messages to new basic and premium members, please ask them to follow the training plan. It is my firm belief that many people leave WA not because the program will not work, it is because they will not work the program!
