Learning
Since we are all "students" in WA I thought this was an interesting perspective on learning.
Hope everyone has a good week.
All the best,

How do geniuses or smart people learn and study?

This is my personal perspective of how geniuses or smart people learn and study:
1) First and foremost, they take full personal responsibility for their own learning pursuits, by establishing long-range goals and objectives to keep themselves inspired, motivated and focused, while in hot pursuit of their desired outcomes.
That's to say, they are always proactive, and invariably begin with the end in mind.
2) They choose to be actively engaged with all their learning tasks, through massive usage and consistent application of proven efficient and effective learning tools in their evolving arsenal, like SQ5R, Cornell Notes, etc.
3) They understand that all learning pursuits entail deliberate and disciplined practice, with hard thinking and hard work.
More importantly, they recognise the fact that success in any learning pursuit is just a question of strategy and discipline.
4) They stay focused on attaining their learning objectives in tandem with their long-range goals, and remain flexible in changing approach or tactics if the goals are not attained as planned.
That's to say, they expend inordinate amount of effort to monitor their learning progress very closely, and often reflect upon and introspect on their forward trajectory from time to time, through informative, corrective feedback.
5) They attributes their success in any learning pursuit to personal competence, and also consider all failures as learning opportunities to become better.
6) They constantly enhances their prevailing repertoire of learning strategies and tactics, so as to make navigating the learning journey a breezy one!
7) They know very well that there's definitely a learning curve in the sweat equity of intense effort and focused execution from (1) to (6), but the pay-off is well worth the effort at the end of it all.
