100 Year Old Technique
This is taken from an article published by fastcompany.com. Since a very popular topic of conversation in WA is productivity and “to do” (or in some cases like mine “not to do”) lists, I thought it might be interesting to see what worked a hundred years ago for Charles M. Schwab in 1918. At the time he was one of the richest men in the world. Yes, I know money is only a PART of what we are doing, but the list seems to be just as valid today as it was 100 years ago! Amazing how things change and yet……..stay the same. Occam's Razor (find the simplest solution to a problem) still applies today !
All the best,
Steve
This 100-Year-Old To-Do List Hack Still Works Like A Charm
At the end of each workday, write down the six most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow. Do not write down more than six tasks.
1.Prioritize those six items in order of their true importance.
2.When you arrive tomorrow, concentrate only on the first task. Work until the first task is finished before moving on to the second task.
3.Approach the rest of your list in the same fashion. At the end of the day, move any unfinished items to a new list of six tasks for the following day.
4.Repeat this process every working day.

(Subliminal response): Probably very effective, Steve. (It'd drive me nuts!) Loved the Blog title (Was expecting Kama Sutra pointers!) Enclosed is $29.95, please send me the Occam's Razor, as my old Gillette has finally bit the dust!
A pleasure. It's fun to play! By the way, do you have any pointers on...Oh, never mind! :)
To the Blues or paradise? You asked for some tickets... I asked where? the comments are mixed again...:)
Very simple and powerful, I think...Doing this, we learn to concentrate which is so important......)
Thank you Steve, old technique able to survived for a century is definitely a good technique.
Steve, that's fantastic! I will definitely do that. I already sort of do that in my head, but writing it out on paper and making sure I do it right is, I believe, the key.
Thanks for this great post.

Man dude, if I have to write six things I am in trouble. I am still finishing the first thing which is pulling a motor.
Just write it six times Mike !
