I need to add a button to link to an affiliate website. Is this something only available in Premium?
Hi Steph,
I am a bit unsure what you mean here....'add a button to link to an affiliate website'. Are you able to clarify where are getting stuck?
You definitely don't need to be a Premium member in order to link to any affiliate site.
Basically what you do in Wordpress is:
- go to the web page you want to link to
- copy the address/URL (http://....)
- highlight the text in your wordpress blogpost where you want the link to be
- click the make link button. this button looks like a chain. If you are uncertain which button this is, you can hold the mouse over any button and a description should appear
- paste the link URL into the link field
- click insert, and you're done :)
Does this answer your questions?
if not, if you could explain more what the problem is, then I will try my best to answer :)
Have a great day!
Cheers
Karina
Hi Karina,
Thanks for your response. I was dealing with IFrame - maybe a little above my ability right now. The vendor also offers a banner, so maybe I'll start there. I'm not finding the ability to navigate in Wordpress editor very user friendly. I've built two websites using Web builder through godaddy and find much more functionality there... perhaps I'm just on a learning curve.
