Slow and Steady Wins The Race.

It's been an eventful 2 weeks...Talk about the temptation to socialise with friends as I haven't done this for ages! Ah well, I am sadly behind with my goals at the mo...so today is planning for the next 20 days.

This means:
  • Using Site Content to organise keywords + articles
  • Writing content with audience understanding in mind
  • Quality vs quantity
  • Only engaging with offline friends who are serious about learning site creation with WA
  • Planning my grocery shopping so that I have enough to sit down and work for at least 5 days straight...(exercise to be done at home!)
  • Keeping a tab on how I spend my time and with whom

Is anyone else feeling like they need to slow down and focus?

The tortoise is slow, but steady. Yes, we are not tortoises but we can learn from them...

Taking the time to put one foot in front of the other with head up and shoulders squared...

We can do this! Consistency is key...

Wherever you are on your journey here with WA, just know any limitations you have can be overcome and you will be a stronger person for learning to laugh at and with life when hiccupps come along the way...

For those of you who are doing great and have no issues with organisation and writing content every day...more grease to your elbows - Keep up the good work!

Easter is the start of new beginnings...

Come along for the ride...

Many blessings,

Stella

Slow & steady, consistency - yes :) I like your attitude a lot.

Also quality vs quantity. What would be the most helpful for the reader? How could one improve their experience reading / consuming an article?

Today I thought about adding more info-graphics to my next article. Even to produce a small video, that would be nice, although challenging!

People respond well to video content - it doesn't have to be with the person visible, but just some animated text and voiceover would be a start.

The training videos here on WA are always inspiring and actionable, because they show something as if the person would sit next to us. Great value & very entertaining sometimes as well :)

I'm in the planning phase, setting up an "editorial calendar". Will have a look into that today, to see if there are some motivating & inspiring templates to use. I always love print-outs with some nice colours & typography.

Keep going Stella! I'm looking forward to hear about your next progress update!

Blessings to you & have a lovely-productive day,
Benita

Hi Stella,
I really like your organization and attitude.

Consistency and persistency is "king" in these areas.

I have heard it said to parrell your blog, "This is a marathon, not a sprint".

Best wishes for continued success, I am sure you will get there.

Bill

Thanks Bill,

Kind words help us sail through tough weather.

After the storm comes the sunshine...

I hope you have a great weekend...

Peace and light,

Stella

Yes Stella,
A schedule is key!! Making and keeping to that schedule!!

Tried and true

Elaine

Thanks Elaine...very encouraging words.

We all need these from time to time...!

Stella

All the best, Stella. Sounds like a plan. I would be a bit more accessible to offline friends though :)).

David

I told a few acquaintances and within 2 weeks, was asked by 1 if I charged...I said 'no' then asked of her time frame as it had taken me 3 months to get rolling when I first started site creation.

I've decided to help her out after her exams when she will have more free time...She would like to set up a charity site...

A learning curve for both of us!
