Remind Me How To Create A CTA Button in Html
Hi folks!
I hope you're all enjoying the weather from inside!! (Or the garden)
Please tell me how to insert a CSS generated button into my posts...
I've been away for a little while and have totally forgotten how it is done...
I understand how to insert the text in the CSS generator, change the colour of the text, padding, etc. But when it comes to inserting the code into my posts in 'text' mode, the html just shows up as code when I view it...After updating...
Any offers?

Try the Max Buttons plugin. Or use a Custom HTML block. Gutenberg or Classic Editor? You CAN Have Both
Tried the plugin and still do not understand how to insert it into certain spots on my post.
Creating the button with a CSS button generator is the easy part.
However, inserting it into the text while in 'text' mode is something entirely different. So far I've followed 4 sets of instructions and am none the wiser...
I will go to bed and wake up afresh tomorrow to see how to solve this.

I wonder if it works the same way as paypal buttons?
I highlight the line above where I want the code to go then change to text mode and put it under where I have highlighted.
I'm beginning to think it's the theme I chose...
I did the same as you Linda - highlight, copy and paste the code into my post in text mode!!
Didn't work!! I tried 3 times!!
Ah well, will keep soldiering on until I find an answer....
I only discovered how to add in the paypal button by trial and error.
I was fed up with woo commerce and knew how to create the button but integrating it into a wordpress site took a while because no instructions were very clear.
