Post Ranking Factors - How Did I Succeed?
Hi folks - I surprised myself this week whilst increasing my publishing frequency...One of my posts ranked on page 6 of Bing and Yahoo within hours of publishing it.
When I typed in the keyword of my other posts, they were not ranking at all, so I reflected on the reasons why.
1. This post was the longest I had ever written with almost 2000 words of quality content.
2. There was a lot of engagement comment-wise as I had asked for comments using Site Comments..I got a additional feedback from people not from WA as well as people from WA. NB I always make it a point of duty to ask for 2-3 comments when I have completed 2 or 3 posts. In this case, the total comments came to 4 and I replied them within 24 hours.
3. Publishing frequency of posts in general - I upped my game and published 1-2 posts every other day. The last week of February I managed to post 5 articles to reach the Super Affiliate Intensive Challenge deadline.
What really surprised me though is that this post ranked without any links included in it. YET!!
The result of all this? I feel that I have turned a corner when it comes to post production. When I joined WA just 5 months ago, I never thought I would be publishing so much information on internet marketing.
I am an intermediate on the subject of internet marketing - and doing this challenge has revealed to me how much I understand and can apply internet marketing strategies.
For those of you who have had great success with your sites and ranking, could you pass on a few tips for the rest of us to learn from?

I'm looking to get into a posting routine and write on a regular schedule.
I heard someone here say that it needs at least 4 posts a week (quality content) over a longer period to get your site to lift off and fly. But that would be in an ideal world. I will be happy with 2-3 I think :)
