Narrow Niche - Higher Earnings

In my search for ways of making my content more appealing, I came across an email sent to my inbox. It focused on how to narrow my niche and be more specific in choosing my audience. This would lead to higher earnings. If I used -

The Two Qualifier Method

1. Niche it down -Two Qualifiier Method

2. Be certain of profitability - Pay Certainty Method

3. Get Inside Their Heads - Briefcase Method

This Method is Ramit S's idea. - He states that by the end of the process you will have at least 1 profitable area to execute right away. With techniqus to help identify your skills, manage yur time and close a sale.

As part of his Earn1K strategy, Ramit says when you target your service SPECIFICALLY to someone - making it truly personalised - they will pay virtually anything...

Here's an example of the Two-Qualifier Method

[QUALIFIER 1] - [QUALIFIER 2] who need [YOUR SERVICE]

In other words, Small businesses in the financial services who need copywriting for marketing materials.

OR

Bloggers with 1,000 to 5,000 subscribers who want to develop information prodicts.

OR

Working parents n the San Francisco area who want tutoring for their high school kids.

Remember that all you need to do is target a group of people who you

1. Understand

2. Like writing for

3. And who don't just want to talk about "cutting back" on everything all day

REMEMBER - IF YOU MARKET TO EVERYONE - YOU WILL SELL TO NOBODY

The more narrower in niche you go, the more you can earn.

You are not just offering piano lessons - you are offering piano lessons to new Mums.

Interested?

So am I...So how do we target our audience? Well, there are 3 basic targeting methods:

1. Geography

2. Demographics

3. Price

Geography

A London - let's say, Kensington based events business. You can do bus ads, TV ads, online stuff, etc. All local to your area

Demographics

The message sent out in politics is worded differently to people in their 20s to the ads sent to grannies in their 60s, 70s, 80s.

Price

Where do you want yor customers to be on the socio-economic scale? Middle income or wildly affluent? What makes them want to spend some of that income on your services? (This applies to customers who are also organisations)

You will need to craft your offering itself (and not just your pricing) in a different way if you are aiming to close affluent customers versus middle class customers.

Using the Two Qualifier Method

I could say I was targeting 30-35 year old women in London who are earning a high income but have facial eczema and need a facial masque to heal their skin.

I am thinking that a high earning woman in a customer-facing role would be embarrassed by her skin and be anxious to heal it quickly.

So as you can see - this is targeted in such a way to attract the right kind of market rather than tire-kickers...

Can you see the difference?

I learned a lot readinng Ramit's emails and thought to pass some of the info on...

Hope it sparks some ideas within -

Sincerely Stella

Thx Stella great info ! It's a keeper!
So, I have a site about vitamins and how you can live healthier and longer without getting colds all the time etc. Like I haven't had a cold in 7 yrs now🤯
So how do I narrow this down?
If I just talk about 1 vitamin or 1 method for staying younger won't I run out of content?
I have seen a man on you tube and all he promotes is serapeptase an enzyme that cleans out your arteries thereby giving you great blood pressure results.
I also wrote a blog on serrapeptase but there are many things that can help you live longer and healthier?
What do you choose?

Great article!
Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Stay safe, stay well, stay productive!

I'm glad you enjoyed it Michael.

My idea? It was Ramit Singh's - I just passed the information on to you. I thought it was too good to keep to myself.

I'm a fledgeling compared to Ramit, but thanks for the compliment!

Stay Blessed,

Stella

Great info. I will have to look at Ramit's emails as well. Thanks, Tom

Yes, good idea.

You do that!

Stella

Great advice. ✨🌟⭐💖👍

Lol! The icons...where did you get the icons from?

That's a really great concept and advice. Most people think that the more narrow niche is, the lesser the chance to earn a decent amount of money is.

But that's not true!

Good job on writing this post!

Cheers,
Dario

Hi Dario,

Glad you enjoyed reading it...When I discovered Ramit's strategy, I thought I'd pass it on to everyone at WA.

It is simply to good to keep to myself.

Have a great week!

Stella
