Image Optimisation for Large Images
Depositphotos.com has been my go to when it comes to images as I have a site that is quite specialised.
However, since 3 months ago, this company has increased the 'small' size of their images to 1000 x 300 and the images are very large. EWW image optimizer plugin is no longer efficient enough to optimize images of this size.
As a result, the traffic I get from Pinterest has gone down because they are mostly on mobile. I have checked Site Speed and my mobile numbers are now as low as 19 whereas before they were in the 70s.
Does anyone know an efficient Wordpress plugin that I could use to bulk process the images on my site?
Suggestions are welcome...

Hi Stella, from my understanding EWW image optimizer has been replaced by the Kraken plugin. You have more options here.

Carson said Kraken is only for new websites that are created. Not old ones.

No, it is not so strictly speaking. If you ask them to move the site to the new class server then they will add Kraken if you ask them. Then you will have a much faster site and the issue with images solved. All my sites are with Kraken and they are not new.
