How to Create Button Text For a Call To Action
Hi folks,
Please explain or direct me to a link where I can put the button text and button colour in CSS to my posts.
I have viewed 2 articles from other people here and am still not sure how to bring both the button text and the button colour onto the post.
Adjusting the font, text and colour is relatively easy, but copying the html code without the large CSS code left the button in black with white text. I used Text mode in Wordpress.
The colour did not carry over.
Kindly advise...Thanks!
Stella

I use a free site called Da Button Factory for creating call to action buttons. It takes mere seconds to create a button with a variety of choice in fonts, sizes, styles, background colors, borders etc. You may google it and see if it helps.
There is training from Jay on this subject, but, if it helps further, then you can use a Mailchimp plugin, which comes as a widget, and creates a CTA box on your blog.
OR...
You can use a free site like Astra, which I have one my sites, that has a Pro Version which lets you have access to ConvertPro, which is a brilliant little pop up, slightly more powerful than MailChimp, although both do the same thing and integrate with Mailchimp
Takes a bit of time to set up in both cases, but by that I mean ticky box and design walk through, but looks good
Thanks Dave,
I was talking about CTA buttons and using CSS to add them to posts....
As I already use Aweber, and am satisfied with my themes design, MailChimp, etc is a bit late in the game for me...!
