Funnels - Are You Good at Creating Them?
Hi everyone! No I did not take a holiday, I was feeling down due to not earning from my blog yet...
Am feeling much better now. After looking and scrutinizing my site, I realised I should have a funnel in place to collect email addresses, before allowing people to read my blog and reviews.
At the moment, anyone can read the information on my site and learn. Then, if they want to, leave their email info for more juicy subjects I may write about. So it seems to be like a library (and those are free to join), with little incentive to buy anything or do anything else.
Is anyone good at doing funnels? Aka Clickfunnel style or Thrive Theme style. With good sales copy? In the end, I may have to figure this out by myself, but if you have any copywriting ideas to turn my 30 page site into a funnel, then please go ahead and let me in on them.
I would really be grateful for your honest feedback.

Yes, good idea...I think this all began when I spoke to some people at an internet marketing seminar.
It was before joining WA...The idea was to create a funnel which began with an email to capture readers' details. Then offer upsets or downhill accordingly. It definitely is worth looking into it.
Magistudio's Live Events (recorded webinars) on Emails from 2018 are very useful to go over. I learnt a lot from watching them and repeatedly did so. That way I became clearer as to what he meant when he said email jargon.
I then progressed onto Thrive Themes and put up 2 email sequences on both my sites. Clickfunnels is harder to learn though, as they speak real fast!
I may just stick with Thrive Themes, make some income, then move onto Clickfunnels after buying Dotcom Secrets, Expert Secrets....They also have a One Funnel Away Challenge, where you create a funnel in 30 days with plenty of hands on nudging going on.
It gets quite addictive and I have only just started!

I did the one funnel away challenge and even then i could not get my funnel up and running. I have decided to pass by Clickfunnels and (can't afford it) go with my autoresponder, GetResponse who now offers funnel building. I'm just trying to figure out the last details on setting it up. I have all of Russell Brunson's books and also the Copywriting secrets book too. I plan on getting a funnel up right after the new year.
Good for you! I started with Thrive Themes and also reading Magistudios Live Events on creating an email sequence using Aweber. I studied it and rewound until I was blue in the face...!
Jay's (Magistudio) teaching really helped me understand how to create email sequences and also Thrive Themes or Thrive Architect training helped me understand how to make interesting homepage and optin forms.
I am going to spend at east 2 months working on creating funnels....It could come in handy creating funnels and sales copy for affiliates...
I'll see how this goes...
This is why Clickbank is so successful...All their sales pages for each product are sales funnels!
A well written one is always a bonus to have...It could make you a decent income indeed.
Your blog can be a natural final within yourself. For example if you have a main offer on your site, you can have all related pages funnels traffic to what is called your money page.
So let’s just say you do a review on coffee mugs, and then have affiliate links to where you would get a commission. Then you write other articles that answer common questions about coffee mugs, and in that article link to your coffee review.
That in itself is a funnel.
You do not necessarily need products like click funnels or thrive tHemes to create fUnnels. They look pretty, but typically in the simplest fUnnels generate the most money.
In terms of copywriting, I am no English major, but I do known how I would like to be sold to. So I would write your copy in a way that appeals to you and would make you want to buy something without seeming overly Salesy. Look to honestly help People wanting to invest in their hobby.
Finally, since you have all of your traffic being funneled to your money pages you can optimize your pages as traffic hits it. Look at statistics in Google analytics like your bounce rate, time on page, what links they are clicking.
Both thrive and clickfunnels allow you to split test pages. So take advantage of that to see what variation converts best for your audience.
The trick with optimizing a funnel, is that I cannot tell you EXACTLY what needs to go in it outside of the "core" things... But the traffic that goes through it and your optimizations is what Makes a GREAT funnel.
The more traffic you have the more you can test. So if your site is getting decent traffic, then start split testing.

Funnels are awesome, I have been focusing a lot lately on this matter, specially when you realize that the conversation rate is much higher than just sending affiliate links like that
I know everyone is raging about clickfunnels and so was I, thing that held me back at 1st was the simple fact that it’s expensive for a beginner.
Then I found another clickfunnels like site, you may already know this one but it’s called: Builderall.
Same service, same option much cheaper in price.
And they also have an affiliate program in which you don’t need to apply to get in or become a member like clickfunnels, but you pay $50/year to be an affiliate.
Just thought it might be worth sharing.

For sharing this...I think when Russell Brunson's copywriter and funnel creator redesigned his 1st website and turned it into a funnel, he got 200% improvement in sales.
He said it paid 2 car payments, his mortgage and also the electricity bill. Now that says a lot about the big increase in sales you will get from turning your site into a funnel.
If you look through Clickbank's marketplace - all the vendors use sales letters or video sales funnels to presell to their affiliates and customers.
This should make sense to us as well. The only thing is that we all need to know how to write copy that includes the product/services' benefits to the reader.
I still remember he said - a bad funnel with amazing copy will always outdo the great funnel with bad copy.
We all need to take note of this comment.
Meanwhile, if we can't afford Clickfunnels right now - Dotcom Secrets, Traffic Secrets and Expert Secrets are all books by Russell Brunson that can help us not he road to greatness.
