Focus On 1 Site At a Time
In a fast paced world, we have so many things distracting us to take up our time.
When I first started I wanted to build 5 sites by the end of 2018. Kyle patiently mentioned "Just start with one and build that before starting on the next".
" You only need 1 or 2 sites to begin with".
Well I see he was right...A site needs building, editing and marketing. And these each consist of many steps.
All taught here...In fact there is so much training it is easy to get stuck on a lesson for several weeks! While trying to work out the right lesson for your business.
I am glad to say I am at email marketing stage and have managed at long last to put a simple optin form on one of my sites. (Only 2!) For all posts.
What I Would Like to Know is This -
If there is a "Create a Thank You Page" section, do you put it's url in your autoresponder set up and simply no follow in index and site map?
I know it is simple, but I can't find the training for creating a Thank you page in Live Events under Emails 2018 by Jay. It is very valuable training and am sure many of us have learned from it.
Once I finish that, I will test all links on every page before marketing heavily.
2ndly, One Site At A Time
Helps you focus on fine details, site design, links working and relevant images, tracking and Google Analytics, site navigation.
It means forgetting to chat on FBook and Social Media unless you are scheduling posts and responding to queries about your business.
It means only watching a little TV at weekends. It means laser beamed focus....Not going after every shiny button there is....
But it does get easier with time...
Let me know your thoughts on this matter!

I had 2 sites, and came to decision that it is too much.
I want to focus on one site only.
If I had spared money, I would outsource the content for 2nd site but for time being it is out of the question.
Excellent post and very true!
In today’s online world there are so many ways to lose focus on what matters. Especially online businesses which require an online presence the majority of the time.
I’ve worked on websites in the past and what I’ve recently learned is to not multitask if you wish to be successful at one thing. Taking baby steps is the key.
Great post!

I think that you are so right.
I am thinking that I should have done this but now i have four sites and working on plan to deal with them.
Focus is key and getting one done and functioning is key.

I am working on my first site but have a second in my mind that if I use what I have learnt then it has to be a winner. Just gotta be patient and disciplined and not start the second one too early!
