Email List Building or Not?

Some guru who I met personally at his seminar - told me about the importance of having a funnel..This was way back in 2018 and I was still green when it came to email list building.

Aweber autoresponding service was a doddle to use following Jay's (Magistudio) training in Live Events. I watched the Email webinars time and time again to get a thorough grasp of what I was doing.

It was only in 2019 that I had a funnel up and running on both of my sites. With Thrive Themes. Well the relationship with Thrive Themes has come to an end due to infected plugins. But what I discovered today really made me think...

In Aweber Active Lists, I noticed that people had signed up to my Aweber optin form and were still subscribed.

I don't know where these people came from! I checked the other optin form for my other site and noticed that they had unsubscribed. (Mainly because I didn't give them what I'd promised on the tin - oops Neglect doesn't pay...)

All this time, I was watching Thrive Leads optin rate when Aweber was the one that got me subscribers.

What Does This Show?

You don't have to have a fancy optin form, before people subscribe to your email list.

Keep it sweet and simple and then drive traffic to your site...Some people will optin and some won't. Make sure to find ways of increasing your optin and click through rate. And keep an eye on your optin list...People may be subscribing under your very nose, but you may not be aware of it!!
