Creating a Site in the Right Order
Hi folks,
I have just spent a few days reading my mails from Google Adsense and read in the small print that a site must be fully launched and not 'under construction' before we put in a bid for Adsense Ads.
I'm glad I found this as I was thinking it doesn't make sense to put in affiliate links when I'm still trying to get my site up to scratch.
So this is the order I plan for site creation
1. Build the site foundation
This means getting on Wordpress up and deleting default posts, buying a domain, etc.
2. Add Content
Around keywords that I have searched using the keyword tools provided.
3. Add Images
Relevant to the content of your site and the overall title.
4. Edit the Site
Whether we type fast or slow, it's easy to make mistakes. So typos and grammatical errors should be sorted either page by page or or at once depending on your style of editing. Also site layout and design can be sorted out here.
5. Get Comments and Feedback
This part is easy and is what the Wealthy Affiliate community will help out with.
6. Get familiar with Social Media
To drive organic traffic to your site. . Also add social media buttons to your site.
Please note: only learn one social media platform at a time and understand how to use it, before progressing to the next. It just makes life easier.
7. Add Affiliate Links
After you may have traffic to your site - it will show that you engage with your audience to affiliate programs and such like Google Adsense.
8. Google Analytics
Hopefully, because you now have traffic, this part of your site should be straightforward to complete.
