Hi, have you added a plugin or did something. Site support do keep daily back ups of our site, so you may want to submit a ticket

For future purposes it is always better to back up site before you do major changes, you may use the AIO WP Migration and Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

Hi, first your site get indexed, means that search engines had found your site, time to start adding content if not doing so already.
Typically you'd be writing quality rich high impact content with good choice of keywords addressing issues related to your niche, and keep updating blog at the recommendation of 2 - 3 posts a week a niche a site. And if people are looking for them keywords, you site will start to gain authority and eventually posts getting ranked in the search engines.
However this takes commitment and months of consistent work

Indexing is the first step of the process and simply means that your website has been found and added to their search engines.
Following on from that, each post you write will be indexed individually.
Finally, ranking is when the search engine decides which page of its results it is going to show your post on. However, this usually takes several months.
I have recently written a blog post that shows you how to check if any of your posts are in the top 100. Check Your Rank Up to Position 100

You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.
