I've had mixed results ... The paid traffic always means a lower engagement rate.

Hmm, what do you mean by paid traffic? The way I see it, if people like the article that has been boosted, they will check it out... right?
And that should be actual traffic. Or I may not know what paid traffic is. Can you explain, please?

As far as I know, you'll have to pay for boosted posts ...

Which means that will be displayed to people who arent really interested in reading it

Is just like the Google SERP page ... I don't even bother to check out the paid results at the top of the page

Hi,
It's a good way to get boosts to your page and your website.

However, if you do boost a post I have since learned that if you make an ad around that post you want to boost you do get more coverage.

Boosting posts is good. Making an ad instead gets you more coverage if you get me.

Your welcome I learned that on the way by a trusted blogger in social media.

Not some training I paid for but just doing the homework basically.

Its to do with ads getting a larger audience than you would with a boosted post and it doesn't matter which niche you're in.

You pay nearly the same for a boosted post or an ad.
