I am just beginning to write my "About me" page on my first website and I was wondering if it is prooper or "safe" to have my first and last name posted or if I should just kee

Go for whatever you feel comfortable with. But also consider this:

If this is a site you might want to sell one day, better to present yourself as an contributor/author working for the site brand.

If this is a website you want to work on long term, it's a niche you enjoy and want to establish yourself as an top expert and build your personal brand. Then yeah using full name is better :)

I strongly recommend that members in employment should be extremely wary about revealing their true identities here at Wealthy Affiliate or on their own websites, whether by using their real names or photographs or both.

It's common knowledge that many employers these days keep tabs on their employees online behaviour, and a member might be jeopardising a promotion or end up first in the queue to be fired if their boss finds out they are in the process of starting up their own business.

You should also never forget, your selfie is only ever a reverse image search away!!

I think it's up to you which one you choose but if you think of your website as a business typically business owners do reveal their full name to customers. Just a thought..

Full name on "about me" page?

Alighty, so I've only been training for about a week or so, and I JUST built my first website. But, I want to know how much time and effort you all put into your profitable web

It's a good question :) Myself I'm going the automation route and reinvesting part of my profits into outsourcing the repetitive tasks - article writing, research, article formatting, client support, etc. That costs money of course but on the other side it frees up my time and I can focus on overall strategy and new websites/projects/campaigns :)

I have four sites. All are pretty well established. I work about 2 hours per day except weekends maintaining my sights and updating new content. As soon as my house is paid off I will be quitting my day job and only blogging. I've been doing This for almost two years. It works but takes some time to build up.

I plan on adding a few more sites, and when I do my work hours will increase for the first couple months as I build the new sites.

Than you so much for your comment!
