I was looking up Power Words and came across "Greed" words which are used by many marketers.

Why greed words?

Greed is the human behavior to want more than we need. These power words are used to trigger the emotion of wanting more by playing on scarcity or being afraid to lose out.

The expected result is to make something appear more valuable and buy now mindset.

Sure, if one do not deliver the promises then the issue of ethics arises.

It is true that there are words that cause emotion in people and it more easily triggers a desire to buy. But as you have explained very well, it is not enough to write good words; we have to offer quality products that bring value to our writing. Otherwise we will build a reputation for good talkers and con artists.

The unfortunate part Is you get many more people using these words without ensuring they aligned to the quality of the products they are selling or promises made.

Most can be presented in a negative or positive manner, depending upon the intent of the heart.

I guess that is the work of the writer, in how he chooses to use these words.
