Now Is The Time To Invest
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
- Chinese Proverb
Now is the best time to invest.
I don't mean in the financial sense although I know some of you with spare cash may be looking to invest in the stock market as it bottom out.
My personal view is we are not at the bottom yet as it is going to be difficult for many to invest when their jobs are at risk and when they stop working.
I am talking about investing in YOU.
It's time to invest in yourself because you have significantly more free time to spend and not many places to go.
Here are some ways you can invest that time for big returns here at WA.
Build Skills
Go through the training to build your online skills. Even if you have finished the training, you can still go through again as there may be some areas you can get a refresher.
If you did not have time for webinars, now is a good time to go through the recordings of the webinars. I am doing that now.
You will be building skills when you apply this knowledge in your business.
I don't know about you but there are many areas my website could improve, so I am doing a review and correcting what I did wrongly or just overlooked.
You can work on
- Writing
- SEO
- Social media's
- Traffic building
- Video
I am sure there are more areas which you can explore.
The better your skill set, the faster you'll bounce back.
The skills you invest in today can pay off for the rest of your life, financially and otherwise.
I've been working on my pinterest content creation skills.
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
- Mahatma Gandhi
Bolster Relationships
Whether you are home with family, friends, or a significant other, now is the time to get serious about your communication and relationship.
With more time spent together, flaws in your relationship will become more apparent. Instead of avoiding them, use this time to address them and come out stronger.
If can also call or FaceTime those not with you to catch up.
Investment in YOU would include all areas of your life.
Rest, Relax, Reflect, and Plan
Too much video games, Netflix and eating may not be very healthy.
You also don't want to be working non-stop online and burn yourself out.
Whatever is it you are doing work or your own business, with 20% of the world quarantined right now, this is the perfect opportunity to catch our breath.
Good time to reflect on your plans your in quiet and less stressful surroundings.
Walk in the park, go cycling, play with your kids, and rediscover the value in the simple life.
Invest some of your newfound time in relaxation, and it will pay you back with a better perspective and a healthier you.
Take care, stay safe and now is the time to invest.

Good afternoon Stanley,
This confinement should definitely not be used to over drink or overeat. Actually this is the ideal time to do a physical and spiritual retreat. Give all the systems a rest of the world, recuperate from the constant bombarding of news, look inside of yourself.
I am sure a lot of people will come out of this crisis with a fresh view of their surroundings and with a shift in their priorities.
Greetings from the south of Spain,

You are absolutely right. Some not used to being “locked“ at home, May have some adjustment to do...
