7 Approved 3 Pending 2 Rejected
So, about 24 hours after my affiliate application to merchants on Share-A-Sale, I have gotten the following results.
7 Approved 3 Pending 2 Rejected
I submitted 10 application yesterday, and they rejected the first 2. So, I added 2 more application after getting some approved today.
7 out of 12 gives me a 58.33% success rate which is higher than the 50% I set for myself.
More important is I now have 7 products to promote besides the 2 I am promoting.
The immediate goal is 10 products for me to build the content strategy around, then I would increase by another 10 in 3 months.
What am I trying to do, you may ask?
After getting my website up for about 6 months, the traffic is far from where I want it to be.
I can change my niche or change the approach and strategy.
A competitive evergreen niche has buyers, so that is good.
What did I do?
I kept the niche but change the strategy.
The revised strategy needs to:
- give me some competitive advantage
- provide a portfolio of affiliate products
- the content strategy need to complement and leverage the products
I believe this way; I put my website in a better position to attract the right traffic and convert.
First goals for this week achieved early so the work for building the affiliate links and at least one article for each product begins.
The journey continues.

I find with ShareASale that sometimes if you give it a month or so and re-apply I have been accepted.

Have anyone here have had any experience with Viglink now called Sovrn//Commerce affiliate network?
I am a repeat customer/buyer for years of 6pm (shoes-footwear), and decided to participate in their affiliate program.
They have their affiliate program through Viglink, that's how I got to know about this affiliate network (AN).
Viglink (Sovrn//Commerce) is different from all other AN I know about.
You place a script in your website and through that script they will link all keywords and affiliate links to one or more of their advertisers. They say they have over 70,000 advertisers.
They say you don't have to go through any of their 70K ads. They do this with the best paying advertisers.
It seems a very good idea. If it works.
I have three websites. One in English and two in Spanish language. I placed the script in the three.
Tested them, and the system says that they have been successfully installed.
My niche is in family, human wellbeing. I have several posts on a diversity of subjects and products.
None of the posts have been linked by Sovrn.
They say that they are dedicated to the affiliates success.
They have a "support" link but no contact link. I had to do a Google search to find a contact link.
I have sent inquiries, but haven't received any answers.
No way to contact them.
I don't know why I am having link problems and no way to reach and receive an answer from S//C.
Anyone into S//C?
I have no experience with Viglink. However, I am familiar with 6PM, which I believe is now part of Amazon after a series of acquisitions.
