My little neglected site
Recently I rebuilt it and made it look a lot more streamlined, simple and easy to get around. (It's amazing what happens when you don't over-think it) The site still needs a lot more products to be added though but it's on it's way. It still only gets a trickle of traffic but it's slowly picking up. I rank pretty high for most of the items that are on there, the ones that I've checked that is.
Anyway about two weeks ago someone bought some kindle ebooks from it. I almost fell off my chair when I saw that! And I don't even have any ebooks for sale on the site which is the best part!
Llllove Amazon.
Yesterday the site sold it's first item that I do have listed on it. :) So I think I'll give this site a few more minutes each day and see where it goes.

I have a question for you. Do you use our Amazon.ca on your site or are you an affiliate for Amazon.com? I haven't started monetizing my new site yet, but I'm a little confused which one I should use when if finally do.

I'm an affiliate of several Amazons around the world including both Canada and USA.
USA is the one that has the most people but it's best to cover all the bases. If you affiliate with only one then you won't get paid for any of the others..even if the traffic goes to Amazon through your site.

I was just as surprised as you. I never would have figured it out had he not made that training. I was only affiliated with Canada at the time. I wouldn't have gotten the sale I just did without it. It took a little while to sign up to all the Amazons but it's worth it.
Yes I am an affiliate there. The site is full of Amazon links, it's just done with posts and not in an astore format.
go to your Amazon link page and click on the tab that says aStore, after you complete that get your link and start another page on your website called Amazon or what ever you would like to call it click on the text tab then paste your link from Amazon there but make sure you get the link that is in the middle of the of the three choices. if you need help go to the training section on WA and look up the training course on this Course: How to Embed Amazon Affiliate Store
This site used to have an astore on it but I changed it to a post format so each product could have it's own paragraph of content.

Amazing isn't it! I've been ignoring one of my smaller sites and it still gives me Amazon money every month...not a lot but it's always a welcome sight on my bank statement.
