I have no gotten to my website and I have to pay extra for everything. Why is that when I was going through the initial training I was under the impression that this was an all
Hmmm.... Where are you seeing these prices? Domain name will cost you money wherever you do it (I've used both namecheap and WA in the past), but I've never spent money on seo, plugins or themes in the past. For the first time in 5 years, I've just upgraded my theme for $18, but only because I wanted it, not because I needed it.
Everything I click on for my site takes me to another page to upgrade to pro. I know eventually I will have to spend some money but its just not in the budget right now. I'm not sure what I am doing? I get on to the site I built but I have no idea how to customize it or change anything right not its just a bunch of boxes and sample writing.

SEO can be done for free based on what you learn in the lessons here and use of All-in-one-SEO plugin. The free version of this plugin is sufficient for almost all users.
Premium themes can be used if you choose to. But there are plenty of free themes available.
The same goes for plugins. What plugins you need is dependent on what you want to do, but there is no requirement to choose premium plugins over alternative free ones.
A domain is the only thing needed to pay for. If you host here ar WA it should cost $13.99 and you have a lot of things included that you need to pay extra for elsewhere.
