I don't want my website to be public until I've finailsed it....so hiding it whilst "under construction". Is there a way I can do that?
Thanks.
Go to "publish" on right upper corner and click. This will open tab and offer a public or private option. Just click your preference. Make sure you do it for every page. Hope it helps
Not sure if you're still looking for answer, but there were times when I was redesigning my site and I didn't want people to see it yet. So I would put my site in maintenance mode using the WP maintenance plugin until I was ready to make it public again.
Here's a guide if you're interested http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-put-your-wordpress-site-in-maintenance-mode/
Hope that helps,

Yes - use the robots.txt file which is at the root of your website

I'm a newbie here and just setting everything up. Just wondering if my goals become public to the WA community? I can't seem to find info on this.
Thanks
Suzie.</
If you do decide to write your goals in that particular section then yes they will appear for any member who cares to read them.
You are really only telling the person you signed up under though.
Also you do not have to tell anyone your goals.
Its purely voluntary.
Enjoy your day.

I would just save it in 'Draft' mode. It is there but no one can see it.
