hello.

I'm a bit confuse what the difference between :

My website has been indexed and My website has been ranked.

Thx

Great answers!

OK thanks to all.
It is pretty clear now

Hi.

They are more or less the same.

Indexed means that your site or post has been recognized and can be found on Google. However, it might not appear on the first 20 pages of Google and is pretty much invisible to normal searchers.
But if you type in your whole domain name into Google, you should be able to find your site.
"Indexed" is pretty neutral and it also happens very fast.

Ranked is usually used when your site can be found a bit easier on Google or other search engines.
We all aim for ranking our posts on the first page on Google.
So the better the rank, the better it is for you.

If you look at the lessons in the courses it will explain the difference between the two. Indexing means Google recognizes your site and found your site in their SEO. . Ranking is when you set up your website based on keywords and authority based on your content. It crawls your site into the pages position. It takes a while, you be in Google sandbox for a time. It takes time for a new site to gain its authority over time it positions your site based on authority. You need to get deeper into the courses to understand it.

Hello Nicolas,

Thank you for your question.

When a website has been indexed it means that Google has actually found your webpage. However, you would find it difficult to find if you carried out a Google search. Google has bots that search for webpages, the bots will keep coming back to your website. The more activity the Google bots see on your website the better your pages will be ranked.

When a webpage is ranked it means that the page can be found easily. So if you carried out a search for your particular page, you should be able to find the page easily. If you're looking for your own pages it's better to use an incognito window, otherwise, you may receive slightly false information.

I hope this helps you.

Wishing you all the best.

Roy

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

Hello

I would like some help about keyword. For now i'm still on the phase 3 training, but i would like to know what to do with keywords after I've finish searching and

the keywords are for your blog posts

Hi - you will use a different keyword for each post you write. Use the keyword in the title of your post, add it once to the first paragraph, and use it as a subheading. Then, when you write your next post, do the same again but with a different keyword.

OK thanks Diane

What I'm saying, what should I do with it in SEO. When you edit a POST or PAGE, there SEO setting downwards and below "Description" are there is "Keywords(comma separated)". Must I enter the related keyword here????

And I must specify that I'm still on phase 3(Making money)lesson 3 and I would like to know if there a training section for this(where to put the keywords I've search and saved) afterwards?

Thank you again

Hi - no, you don't need to put anything in that section. Google doesn't take any notice of it.

Hi - are you clicking "get QSR"?

Yes, that is jolly good and I would use it.
