About Specter1943

I am a retired truck driver who would like to supplement my other income with an online business. I have been a member here before but there was never enough time to get anything done so I quit and gave up. Now I have nothing but time and a better idea for a niche. I am expecting to be able to achieve more this time.

Having carved out the time to work on achieving these goals, take action.

Good evening and welcome to the WA family. Happy New Year to you.

Those are great goals that you have set yourself. Remember that this is a journey and not a destination. There is a lot of work ahead, so the more effort that you put in, the more you will achieve.

Enjoy the excellent quality training from Kyle and just ask if you have any questions, as we are all here to help each other achieve our goals.

Setting goals is an exercise for business owners to give them sight and a sense of direction the amounts you fill in aren't all that important as long as you fill in something.

Most businesses that fail are run by owners that failed to have a goal or business plan in place therefore they were steering their ship blindly with no sense of direction and ran aground.

Best of luck to you,

Calvin

Hey Bob, welcome to WA and for becoming a Premium Member.

I hope you and your family are safe and well :-)

I am not your official one-to-one coach/referrer here at WA, however, if you need any help or advice, be sure to ask questions along your journey. There are loads of helpful members here, myself included. With such a vast amount of skills & expertise for pretty much any topic or issue that you may have :-)

I published a blog post here containing a suggestion on how to ask questions to receive the best possible answer in the shortest time. Feel free to check this out below: I am also working on putting together an in-depth FAQ series. While I am building this out, feel free to check out this section which contains links to other members FAQ's below: Now that you are a Premium Member, you are possibly considering purchasing your own domain name or transferring an existing one that you already own to WA. When you get to this point, you might find the following tips helpful when it comes to moving your website on the SiteRubix subdomain to your own domain name. I would always encourage you to purchase your domain name through WA, as it comes with numerous benefits compared to other registrars. Another topic that comes up a lot is regarding where to find free images for your website. I have put together a blog post that contains some of these, as well as a workaround on how to get the images from SiteContent into your WordPress website (as you are unable to edit an Article in SiteContent after it has been published, all future updates must be made within your WordPress website), you can find this below: When you come to wanting/needing any comments, likes, shares and feedback for your website(s) and some social media sites, you can find the links in the post below: If you require any supplemental training while you are completing the core training, or once you have completed the core training, you can, of course, find this by using the Search Bar at the top of every page here. I have also categorised my own training for ease of use. You can find this here: Speak soon,

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Yes choosing a niche is something to consider very carefully. Are there enough customers? Is the market too crowded? Do I even have a chance of making it in this particular niche?

My main passion, if you can even call it that, is in the personal finance niche. I would like to help others to get their finances in order so that they can experience a debt free life. To live life to the fullest without breaking the bank. To teach how to make and spend money.

I know that personal finance is an overcrowded niche and there is lots and lots of competition. But it is the one thing that I am interested in.

Right now I'm trying to figure out a way to niche down so that I stand out from the crowd. I am leaning towards the biblical principles of finances. I could also go with 'personal finance for women' since most women take care of the family's finances. Or 'personal finance for single moms' could be a help for those in that situation. I haven't quite made up my mind just yet.

What are your thoughts?

Picking niches is tough, but this tutorial will make it easy for you Bob: Personal finance and being debt free is a bit broad yes but that niche guide should help you select it properly. I also have a classes webinar on this but it's in premium plus. Let.me know if you have any questions.

It occurs to me that the niche I picked and began a website for is totally wrong. I don't need to teach here, I need to sell something. I am choosing a different niche; one with products to sell.
Tell me, if I start a new niche site on SiteRubix, a free site with a new domain name and later want to use that same domain name to create a paid domain site, can I still use the same name without the SiteRubix in the name? In other words can I just shift the site to a paid site?

Hi Bob, absolutely. We have a "move" option here in WA where people with siterubix sites can easily move them to paid domains. If you need help with niches, here is how to pick a profitable one:
