I just read about a Google Chrome vulnerability if you are using Google Chrome Version lower than 72.0.3626.121.

To check the version of your Google Chrome, look to the top right of your chrome, there should be three vertical dots, click on those three dots.

Right under settings, there is a tab that says help. Click on help and select about Google Chrome.

In about Google Chrome it should indicate what version of Chrome you are using.

If you are using a version lower than 72.0.3626.121 you should up date your chrome ASAP.

You can read the full article that I read by clicking right here!

All the best!

Hi Evelyn,
Thanks for this important tip. In our case, our Chrome version is well above the minimum you noted.

Bill & Sue

Hey Bill & Sue, I'm glad you keep your stuff updated!

Hey Evelyn,

Wow, this is very helpful information and I have it bookmarked.

I followed your instructions and my version was the same as what you noted.

I did a successful update to the newer version.

Thank you.
Monica

You are very welcome, I checked my daughter's computers and they were the older versions too and it was a simple update for her. Glad I was able to help, Evelyn.

Thank you for sharing:). Just checked, and I’m running on that version. It was strange, though. When I pulled it up, it said that an error occurred while checking for updates? Not sure what that was about?

Hey Suzi, sometimes the updates don't go through, what I would do is try again and see if it works. You could be using a plugin that is blocking it, you may want to turn off all your plugins and try the update again then turn on your plugins. If that doesn't work, where those three vertical dots are, under settings, scroll down to advance settings, it says restore settings to original defaults and try the update again. If that doesn't work here are tips that should help you out.
