How to do blogging the easy way

Last Update: July 05, 2015

The crazy thing is I actually heard about this from someone many years ago but as and from last night I started actually using it. I Actually got an email from the business that I'm associated with and it was showing this blog hack. I am not a great one for typing although I'm happy to do videos and talk a lot so this is going to make my life very easy.

Yes my friends this is my fifth Voice to text blog post. I'm just talking my blog you can't get much easier than this. Who said blogging has to be hard work.. :-)

The program I was told about years ago is called Dragon speak and as far as I know it is a bit of software that you can get on your computer and dictate your blog posts. The great thing is recently I got myself a new iMac and after watching the blog hack yesterday I realised that I already have this function built in to my Mac.

So the blog actually help me to realise how to actually use it.

Only need to do is to go to settings on your Mac public For a section called dictation and speech. I don't Think that this is not available on all macs but if you bought A Mac recently then you should definitely have it already installed on your computer.

Just make sure dictation and speech is activated and press the fn button twice to activate it. Wherever you click your mouse Will be the place that the speech gets typed.

Up until now this has actually been quite a lazy week for me but since yesterday my blogging is going like A storm Long may it continue. So all my WA Friends if you haven't already started Voice to text blogging you should definitely give it A go.

Successful blogging my Friends

Cool post. I have been thinking about purchasing Dragon. I'm curious. How long did it take for the voice recognition software to pick up on your voice and is Dragon compatible to Word? So you can edit if necessary.

I had my Mac for many years already and heard about Dragon. I even attended a workshop on this three summers ago. This serves as a reminder that there is a tool at hand which I can use so easily. Now that I am actually set to work more on my website, this will be of great use. Thanks for the reminder, Sotiris!

I have that app on my ASUS that I dictate to. The spelling is unreal and when I fix everything and press send the text changes. It's all ok I just go into edit and fix it.

Thank you, what I find with the Voice to text blogs is that your post looks more natural as it is exactly what is coming out of your mouth. And not what you're thinking should be coming out of it :-)

Yes it does indeed although I think there is a limit of 200 words unless you upgrade. It is free to do on a mac or I think you can also buy a software called dragon speak.
