Just wondering, what are the pros and cons on transferring all your sites to WA?
Do any of you have other business sites which you have or haven't transferred to WA? If so, why or why not?
I want to bring three websites over here. It will mean re-writing the sites but they need updating anyway and I would like to be properly aware and informed of what the knock-on-effect could be. Would one problem be a 401 redirect error when people click on an old link?

Thank you Leonard, yes what you say is rather the reason why I wanted to know if anyone has come across specific cons apart from what you've mentioned. It seems like the best way to go to me right now, despite the eggs all being in one basket! :)
Great to bring your old sites to WA because of all the great tools WA has I think you should check with our support guys here as far as the 401 question and they will advise best way OK

Yes I would think so too but it's a bit daunting to take the leap with the possibility that I later discover all sorts of issues which I hadn't realised. The error 401 question is the only one I know about but maybe there are other pitfalls...?
I'm such a novice, I don't want to later find out that I'm not up to rebuilding & running my business site here...

Did you contact Tech support about your error concerns?, did you move your old domain to WA? any observed issue? I have been thinking to move one of my sites but wanted to hear from you.

I did contact tech support and with their help I successfully moved 2 sites here from other hosts. I didn't import the content as they were both small (and weren't written on Wordpress) so I rewrote the content (and copied/pasted some). Basically all I imported was the URLs.
I haven't had any problems since and I've saved quite a bit of money by leaving the old hosts and bringing the sites here.

I have only transferred one site over. I did it mostly for ease of access. There was no problem and I didn't really have to do much work.
