Hello I set up 2 emails in WA to go with my website. One that I can access in webmail and one that I have set up to forward to a gmail account. I can't access the webmail throu

I submitted a site support ticket and they explained it to me. Yours may be a different situation. But it didn't take them but just a few minutes. You will need to give them your email and password if you want them to check.

Thanks Vicky. I think I was typing my fix up when you wrote this. I think I'm all good now. Many thanks. Sophie

Ok I found a fix.

I went into my gmail account I use for all my WA, niche website stuff then clicked on:

Settings
> Accounts & Import
> Send mail as

and added the SMTP outgoing mail settings for my niche website email account provided with WA when you set it up. Now I can receive emails into my gmail account from my WA emails and send from either my gmail account or from my WA email account all under one roof!

I just learnt something new and it actually works out perfectly as I want all emails in one place for WA!

I had the same problem earlier. I was putting in my name but leaving a lot of space between it and the site name. You can not have any space also make sure the end of the name has .com I just deleted what they had and put the entire name in again. I was finally able to open.

Hi Vicky, no spaces. It's weird I deleted an email account then reinstated it and I could get in but it wasn't receiving any emails so I logged out of webmail tried to log back in and it won't let me again.

Hello Sophie,

I have the same problem at the moment, 1 works to gmail and the other one not.
But the one that does not work is recently adapted, I mean, the domain is recently moved and I guess that within a few days everything will work again (I hope!)

Can that be also the problem in your case?
That the one that does ,not work is recently created or adapted?

Grtz,
Bert

No it's not recent do no idea what's going on. A bit annoying as I want to use one of those emails for a subscribe form. I'm having to use my gmail at the moment. Thanks for your response though Bert. Sophie

I'm getting an error message when I try and add my website and sitemap to Bing webmaster. It keeps saying:

Error: This may be a momentary issue; try again, or check back

That happened to me too. I got the error message but when I went into webmaster tools my site was there. Just to let you know it takes ages to get their data in. I'm with them weeks and still only have 17 pages indexed.

with Bing, whenever you create a new article, go to configure my site then, submit url's to submit your article to be indexed.
You do need to type in the entire url.
It is similar to the fetch, render and submit to index in Google webmaster tools and gets things indexed faster.

Thanks I must do that. Cheers for the tip.

The same happened to me. Actually the process went on correctly.
Loris

I have had to verify my site with Bing 3 times now and it will not stay verified. Their customer service is basically useless so I've given up on Bing.

with Bing you have to type the entire URL
http://yoursitename.com/sitemap.xml for example

It's weird cos when I now click into 'configure my site' the website is there so maybe it's my network connection. Thanks anyway FHagstom.

I have yes and I still get the error message. It's been a few days since I last tried so I can do it again later today.

Yeah, can someone please answer this because I get the same message?

Is it working for you yet Anthony?

Sorry, I am working on my website currently. When I get to it later I will let you know. If you could do the same that would be great to :)

I want to base my niche on photography possibly beginner DSLR but is it wise to choose a niche that is written about a lot. Is that setting yourself up for a fall?

This is only my opinion but I think it's fine to write about photography. If you have an interest in it and think you can bring something new then go for it. Look for gaps, put it in your prospective e.g how you got into photography or maybe helpful life hacks you have come across.

I have a real interest in photography which is why I want to use it. Thanks for your comments that's really helpful. Great to get a bit of feedback with questions that keep bouncing round my head!

your welcome. I think you have to go with something you find interesting. You will have to write a lot of content on the topic and research new ideas so having a keen interest will keep it fun.

That's the bit I'm looking forward to - writing about something I'm interested in! thanks again
