Being efficient with minimal study sesh gaps

I'm currently learning about Pinterest and why it's beneficial to have a Pinterest account and be an active Pinner. I never would have taking the time to dabble in Pinterest if it weren't for WA. I guess I'm coming to terms with how immersed I'm going to be in many social networks now, for the benefit of my business, I need to give my social personality a tune-up, and I don't mean extra fancy selfie pics. The only social media profile I had before Pinterest and WA ( I don't know if you consider WA social media? ) was Facebook. I just started a YouTube channel with one cooking video LOL... I feel like it's going to be overwhelming trying to be all over the place and in every Network so I can make sure to get myself out there, but won't that take away my time from creating my content in my site? My time during the day is limited because I have a baby that is 9 months old and takes up a lot of my attention so when I have time to sit at the computer what should be my main focus? Should I start making social media accounts and every venue, like Twitter an Instagram and Snapchat or should I just focus on learning my lessons? It's hard not to get sidetracked when I'm reading something and I need some more information about something I just read, so if I do a Google search on "what does QSR mean?" Then I get some YouTube videos that I feel would do a better job explaining, AND THEN while I'm on YouTube trying to figure out what something means I noticed another video in the sidebar that looks interesting and it's completely irrelevant to what I'm doing at the moment but I just HAVE TO CLICK IT and if anything, at least save it for "view later" right? And then I go back to my WA lesson that I was reading and just then I hear with my Mom ears, that my son is starting to squirm and move in his bed and that means that he's just about to wake up and holler for me, that means that my time is up for this study sesh, did I make the most of it? How can I make the most of it next time?

I have been using pinterest a lot lately.

I made a Pinterest account and got confused on how to organize and utilize it, so I ended up getting frustrated and deactivating it. Do you recommend any free tutorials or youtube videos that will give me a good overview, and brief tutorial on how to use it?

I got my 13 year old daughter to show me how to use it. But if you do a search on here at WA there probably is a tutorial on it.

I have always been on so much stuff over the years..

I myself only really use Facebook and Instagram. Both are extremely powerful tools. I would advise to keep your Instagram posts relevant to your niche and use relevant hashtags (as many as you can think of).

With Instagram you can search hashtags and spam like many different posts, usually this results in follows and likes back, Gaining a following on Instagram is much easier than Facebook in my opinion!

I have yet to set up a Facebook group/page for my niche.

Remember though information overload ;) focus on one at a time until you have got grips with it then move onto the next while still putting some time into the one before. Social media is a powerful tool for any AMer....

Youtube is a tough one to break into, because its quality over quantity and there are many big channels for every niche you can think of. HOWEVER, you can intertwine all your social media together, Facebook allows you to share your other social pages on your profile page....

I just joined Instagram and connected it to my Facebook. You said to keep my Instagram post relevant to my knees so do you think I should make a new Instagram account? Because the one I have now is my own personal one? Would it make sense to use my personal Instagram account to promote my niche?

Depends, you could use your posts going forward to be relevant. Your past posts could help show credibility that you are also a regular person, and not one of the many fake profiles out there.

Also it depends on the amount of followers you have? You can always have one personal and one business Insta :)

You can still link them both together, for example you could have your business one point to your site, and your site could link to both your personal and AM insta pages... :)

Cool! I didn't know I could have two separate accounts but also have them linked together . Thank you.

I get it, it can be overwhelming for sure. One thing I can suggest if its worth a penny is to focus mainly on your website. When you feel satisfied about your site and it just needs some updates or whatever comes to mind, start your networking. You will have more time to focus on your social medias and the visitors will have a strong and complete website to browse in.
Hope it helps.
