Pinterest - What gives?!
This week was very exciting and then disapointing for me. I pinned a few pins over the weekends and got a spike in traffic, all the sudden my visitors went from a measly 30 per day, to suddenly 140 one day, 250 the next day, 359 the next day and then the very last day before it declined it peaked at 410 people in one day at my site... I have a total of 11 clicks this month on my google adsense.... that is EXXXCITING.... Butttt, here is the thing... all the sudden the next day my numbers dropped to 200, then to 100 and now its at 50..... I am tripping out hard.
I watched a few YouTube tutorials on how to fix this problem. I learned that in Pinterest there are SPIKES of traffic, like suddenly someone who has a huge following will see your pin and like it, and pin it to their boarrd and VOLLA it gets TONS of exposure and then TONS of traffic. One pin I had put out there got 1,400 views.... I mean, no wonder that was where all this traffic was coming from... it made sense on Google Analytics and this.. and then I learned that things will die down for awhile and then sooner or later it will spike again... I am waiting for that spike so bad man.. so bad.... I am like so frusterated right now because Google has not decided they trust my site enough ( its less that 8 months old ) so NONE of my articles are ranked on any first pages yet ( trust me I looked ) so the majority of my traiffic is coming from Pinterest right now thank god for Pinterest...
This blog was a mix of rambling but also questions on what other peoples experiences are with Pinterest at the moment. How many pins a day do you do? DO you use Tailwind? I have the free version so is only 3 or 4 pins a day and I usually sit at night and pin away but I feel like that will be annoying to my followers who will be bombarded with my pins/? How will they know its even MY pins bombarding them ya know lo?

So I am just totally not understanding how to use Pinterest. I mean I get how to use it. but do you have to have a business account? How do you access the boards I see that people say you should join to get exposure. Right now I just have a regular account. And I am trying to fill my own boards. But I feel like no one sees the ones I want them to see like my own posts that I make and put up there. Any advice? Do you have a regular account or a business one? and how the heck have you gotten so many views? lol

Pinterest is a web application designed to discover information using images.
To get to know how to do it try youtube. I did the same and it helped. Type in the search box something like "How to use Pinterest to promote a product.' Or any question you need clarification on. There are loads of videos. Hopefully, you will gain one or two things.

I started out like you. With maybe 7 followers and just filling up all my boards. Now I have a business account, and I have it attached to my website, my analytics are all set up, but after I set it all up and made pins for my own website and made its own board, I didn't know what I was doing because I wasn't getting exposure, so I paid someone on Fiverr to set up my Pinterest account and hook it up with cool features. I don't know exactly what she did, but afterward I started getting lots and lots of people following me. I noticed that I have a "analytics" tab where I can see all the traffic going to my website from Pinterest. You first need to populate your boards and make your Pinterest profile look juicy. After that I recommend watching lots of YouTube video tutorials ( I learn a lot better visually by watching something rather than reading it ) - But like I said, I am still learning. I am pinning now but I am not seeing anymore spikes in traffic like I did last week.

I am now learning how Pinterest works. I only images up but don’t thing I know how to use it yet. It’s at the top of my list!!
I think out of all the social media platforms that Pinterest is the most valuable and worth time investing into. I hear alot of people talking about how they get most of their traffic from Pinterest and the traffic is targeted because people are looking for what you are putting out there.
I’ve heard it’s the fastest growing social media right own.. I’ll tackle it!
