Feeling a little discouraged :(

Being a mom is so hard. I mean, there is just NO TIME to do anything other than take care of my baby. Even when he takes a nap, I am usually so tired myself that I fall asleep with him or I finally get an hour to work on my website but its never enough.

I am just hoping that I don't waste my time and that all the work I put into this will pay off eventually? I am just hoping that I don't get to a point where I realize that I am stuck and then won't know where to turn.

I signed up and am taking one class this semester at college in Digital Filmaking so that I can start a YouTube channel as well. I just don't want to find myself at the end of this year with no success, no growth and a series of failures behind me.

I love my baby so much I just want the kind of lifestyle that I feel he deserves.

I hear you! I’m the same here, started WA on December last year. Lately I haven’t posted much and I need to keep up, to write at least twice a week but it’s hard with a young baby, which by the way turned 1 year last Sunday yay!
I’ve started another course and along the way I’ve found myself wanting to pursue another career in which I’ve got no experience at all. I love my baby and like you I want to give him all my best and provide for him.
I know this post is an old one, I hope you are in a better place today :)
If you ever need a chat here I am :D

I would strive to post 2 blogs per week around 1,200 - 1,500 words and scale from there.

eventually as you get faster at writing and researching you can scale to 3 etc

just curious what niche are you in?

One option would be to learn as much as you can as quickly as possible here and then turn that into a local job helping businesses with their websites. I have seen there are many local businesses that have websites but struggle since they don't know anything about having a website and don't understand SEO. They need someone to help them so people can find their site in order to find their business.

Even if you aren't making sales yet, if you have a nice looking website, that will be your resume to get such a job. That is one way you could start earning money from what you are doing here and it won't be a waste of time. You can still keep your website and build it up but in the meantime you might be able to make some money faster while it grows.

I got an offer from a friend of a friend whose Dad has a small medical practice to do this. Another friend signed up for WA and has a monthly premium website now. He has a local contracting company but was complaining that no one could find his website. He is so happy he signed up now and the new website is already helping his business. So, selling WA memberships to local businesses might be another way for you to start making some money. Once again, having a good website yourself would be the best proof you can show that WA works.

I hope you can find something that works.

Brilliant ideas there Jessica!!!

Almost every new adventure into trying to make money is a risk. WA is somewhat more difficult in that we have to wait for a while to see any results. I am sure most of us have had the same fears about wasting time. Look at it this way. If what you are doing does not pay off, you can always switch gears and move in a different direction, learning from your mistakes. Many have done that and have been very successful.
