A Quick Way To Make Old Blog Posts Look Newer
Hey Everyone. I just learned something really cool today.
That is, how to make your older blog posts look new.
Just make sure your comments are switched so that they show the newest comments first, rather than the very firsts comments you ever got for that post. This way it looks fresh and still thriving. Your old blog post will still look like it has recent readership and will promote people to want ot leave comments as well.
I learned you can do this by going to your Wordpress backoffice or dashboard. Then go to Settings // Disscusion.
At the bottom of the option "other comment settings" you will see "Comments should be displayed with the [chose newer here ] comments at the top of each page"
you will have an option to pick newer or older and so, you want to switch that over to "newer" and make sure you save this at the bottom there is a save button.
I also learned that comments people add to your page add more content - meaning that google will consider your post way longer than how you originally posted it, so if it was a quality 700 word post but 50 people left comments, then your post is really considered more like 10,000 words - I didn't realize that, so there is more momentum towards the comments thread lol
And boy do I appreciate you all and your wonderful comments with your beautiful faces and avatars on my page. I just love seeing everyone! This is is such a great community and I love how everyone supports everyone here. I also love how we all keep it real with each other and dont BS anyone because we want us all to succeed.
