Photo Happy Mom is alive and well!
So, I just finished the second level of videos and I wanted to say Yeah! The videos are great. They do simplify the process of deciding a niche and laying out the framework. I like the approach of just getting to it, rather than spending months laying out a whole site blueprint.
I tend to work organically, meaning I develop an idea one bit at a time and I don't know ahead where it will lead. It makes it easier for me to be authentic, which makes it easier for me to stay with the work it takes to consistently create good content. Thanks Kyle for the guidance.

Looks like a great start, Sonja. One thing I would do is call my site Photo Happy Mom, not PhotoHappyMom.com. Your URL can be that, but I think I would put the regular words on my title line. The other thing is, if you're photo happy, you should make a nice header out of your favorite photo for the top or make a photo collage of some of your favorite photos. It would dress it up and give it a more "photo happy mom" feel. Good Luck!

That's how I write as well. I will start a story and I never know what's going to happen next. :)

Only think I would suggest it the first half of the page is rather drab and then further down you have color. I know the pic was black and white but maybe you could stick something else in as well a little bit down so there's some color "above the fold" as they say.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I'll get some color in there. I've been focusing on writing rather than tinkering with the theme - I tend to get obsessed so I'm ignoring it for now. I'm glad you like the niche!
I understand. I've been here a little over 6 weeks. I've changed my theme about 4 or 5 times. I was so focused on getting pages up - I didn't want someone to come across my site and nothing be there lol. Now I'm going back and fine tuning things that I think are making a huge difference.
I never was a big photo taker but my aunt who just passed Monday, she took thousands of pictures - she was always "making memories" as she called it. Pictures are awesome I think. Carla mentioned a good idea too about making a collage. I have been playing with one on my photo slider on my main page - mosm.info.
I am sorry to hear about your aunt. How wonderful that she left so memories for you to share. Nice collages on your site. I'm going to experiment with them, too. I look forward to seeing how your site develops. I looked at it on my iPad and the header is cut off. I'm not sure how to fix that. I'll check it out from my computer.
Thank you, And thanks for checking on your iPad. I've looked on my phone (which is small - very lol) and the only issue I had was the way the menu shows up. It wasn't ugly I just didn't care for it.
Let me know if it continues to be cut off. I will see if there is a plugin or something I can add to make mobile visibility better.
