Hey Arie,
Checking for "verify" training and blog tips, I see several tutorials that Marion has created and updated and available for you to check out, if Phil's (aka feigner) advice does not work for you.
See screen print below...
Hope you find this helpful.
Strong lead Trish, thanks a lot. I'm still in the dark with this and will certainly check Marion's blogs.
Have a lovely day and many thanks again!

I think I can improve my keywords of some of my older articles. Can I unpublish an article, edit it and insert better keywords, and re-publish? Will that affect my Google ratin
Hi Sonic
Have you set up google search console? If not, have a look at below: Using the New Google Search Console If you have, then you can just go and request indexing on your URL again.
Paul
Hi Arie,
I agree with @kudaonline
There's no need to unpublish. just edit your posts and freshen them up a little.
Best wishes
Jane
I would not unpublish I would just edit the article to make it what I want. adding the keywords and so on. Here is a video I saw this morning that can help as well

Jay has a month of live webinars on email building, he is always my go to if I need to learn something :)
This is the link to the first one, you'll find them by doing a search in Live Events: Email Marketing 2018: 1st Steps to List Building
Hi Sonic, it is in the training but not recommended until you have built up a lot of content in your site. How far are you in your training? However, if you believe you are ready then you can do a search at the top of the page and type 'autoresponder' or 'mail list' and you will find a list of training or blogs from members, that may give you what you need.
Hope this helps ☺️

Hey Arie,
That would not have come from the CIA either. Spammers can even make it look like your own email account sent you the spam when in fact it did not come from your email server at all.
Here's a video to help you: How to Determine if an Email is Spam Hope you find this helpful.
Ignore it... they play a numbers game hoping that a few will pay up and don't follow up the rest.

They send them out by the million so your chances of getting one are high. I've got a lot of email addresses so I get a lot of them.
If you've got an uncloaked email address anywhere on your site, it will get scraped sooner or later. No scam filter can protect you from that.
So far I am good. I think WA is pretty good at protecting us from these extortionists. I am sorry to hear about yours. Are you sure you got hacked through WA.
Cannot say for sure Jerry, I know the last round (a few weeks back) many WA members were affected. I don't know if there is a correlation but I published a post through Wordpress yesterday and received this funny bit some hours later. Lets wait and see, maybe some other WA members pick up on this. Thanks for comment.

Hey Arie,
What you DO want those types doing is SOURCING your information. So... why not suggest that others should feel free to source your informative posts? Just a thought.
Hi, Arie I hear what you are saying, especially if you have created original course material, some folks scour the intent for content like yours which can be easily converted into an ebook or something similar.
A site and a plugin that may be useful for you.
https://www.duplichecker.com/
and one that I have just come across, supported and tested up to WP 5.0.4
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-content-copy-protection/
I would also check out the WordPress repository.

Better to take some precautions if you think competitors will descend on your content.
it is also possible to password protect content in the back end of word press.
- create content, publish
- select visibility edit. ( in the top box right-hand side)
- Select password protect.
- Up, date.
A little bit more to it but you could set it up so the content was internally linked from a page or post that was password protected.
You could collect an email address and forward the password so folks could gain access.
Depends on how you are developing your site.
Alex
Awesome piece of advice Alex, thank you very much. I’ll most certainly work your recommendations through. Again, many thanks!
In the end, I don't believe you can stop them... you can, however, make your articles unique through your personal style and even more unique if you include some personal stories. Build a relationship with your audience as much as possible. Do your best to make them want to do business with YOU and not anyone else...
Nathalie
You need to build the trust... people buy from people they know, appreciate and trust. Making short videos on Youtube is a great way for people to see you as a trustworthy person...
I developed a training syllabus- nothing to do with online marketing though. I know that training institutions out there would love to have mine, as the existing stuff is very crude.
Yea- still heading towards THAT. I gathered that is super-important! Have you any idea what learning curve I am making at the moment? Gosh, never thought I knew so little and that there is so much to learn! Thanks for the kind help :-)
You have an amazing website Nathalie- will keep it open for a while as reference. Thanks for that!
Thank you for your kind words about my site and my help, Arie. :-) It always feels good to me to feel appreciated. :-)
I know what you mean about the learning curve. You're doing great! Keep going!
About your training syllabus, you can put it on a members-only online platform... I only know a French-speaking one but maybe other WA members can recommend some English-speaking ones...
Are you looking at what other people are doing with their training syllabus online? I've been following so many online training courses these past few years that it's helped me understand what the options are... although I still don't know which English-platform they use to put their training online...
And thank YOU kind lady, for all your help! I’ll be looking at this option too. Regards, Arie
You can use the plugin - WordPress Protection Lite.
This has worked for me and other WA members, I believe.
Valerie
All original writing is copyright, but the ideas themselves aren't.
There's nothing you can do to prevent them taking your stuff and rewriting it.
If they copy it as is, they'll be in breach of copyright and Google will also hopefully penalize them for duplicate content.
