Can I change the permalink or URL of an image after the post has been published? Will this affect my SEO? I know that you should not modify the URL or a post once the post has

You can change it though we are advised not to , I am not sure if this will be of any help

Sonia, I just had some issues myself and had Kyle to help me. He strongly said to me never change the permalink ever when it is published.
Yes, as far I know this can have an affect on your SEO.
Not so sure about changing the Alt text, but my gut feeling says though that you can do it.
Please, don't quote me about that. LOL
Sylvia

Ok, I won't quote you! ;) Thanks a lot for the information! I will only change the alt text to make fit better with the image.

Do you index in google your 'contact me' page?

Thanks Sonia :)

I to have no index on that page

My contact page I have on no index, my about me page is indexed

Thanks Loes :)

why is your contact page on noindex?

It contains only pictures and links Dom

doesn't mean you should noindex it though. Given that Google likes to see a site has a contact page, privacy, and about page, I always index mine.

oke, I will see to it Dom, you know best:)

Did add some text, and made the keywords right, and fetched it on Google, so that's taken care off :)

That is an Awesome question Sonia, Does anyone else know?

I would like to know as well, that would be great!

Well, all the answers I got is that you don't index it. Sonia :)

I don't, no.

thanks :)

Nope

Thanks Eric :)

Any time, my pleasure Sonia!

Don't index the privacy policy either.

ROCK ON!
E

I haven't indexed the privacy policy and affiliate disclaimer pages, but I wasn' sure about the contact page!

Cool - you're all set then. :)

Hi everyone,

I am doing a review and the keyword that I want to use has less than 10 for both average and traffic, but the QSR is less than a 100 and the SEO is around 90.

I would use keyword and use review in it

Thanks. I will! :)

I try to keep the average traffic over 50, but if you think that this product is getting more interest than Jaaxy or WA Keyword tool is getting, than go for it. Here's how I place my keywords for top ranking.

http://learntogrowwealthonline.com/how-to-get-traffic-for-your-website

Go about 1/2 way down the post and see about keyword placement. It's title is..How to Rank Content to Increase Your Website Traffic – SEO

Hope this helps,
Todd

Thanks Todd, it does help. Sonia

Hi everyone,

I have been playing around with canva in order to make a logo and favicon for my website. I would to know what you think.

For my favicon I am thinking

I prefer B and D

Thanks for your feedback!

I would tend towards E is one of the cleanest in its appearance. In the end it comes to what you like to see and what will compell with your emotional bond towards your business.

A Logo should be always easy to read, also without color good to see and easy to read. The Logo should work with and without text, and the letters on the picture should maybe stand out more or be arranged on top of it. Just oppinion though.

Hope I could help a little.

Yes, it helped a lot, thanks for your feedback.

Hi Sonia, I can't read a good chunk of the white letters in logo C, logo B is ok but would be easier if a bit bolder. I also really like D font better. E seems a bit cartoony i.e. "don't take me seriously".
I totally love the favicon. Great job :)

Hi Kerrin,
Thank you for your input. I find the creepster font a bit scary... Might be a good choice for a horror niche or Halloween! So far (B) and (D) are the winners!
Have a nice day :)
Sonia

For favicon I like choice B.. it is bold and easy to read. for logo like choice D again can be read easily looks good

Hi KatieMac,
Thanks for your input, much appreciated!
Sonia :)

best of luck with it all does look great

Hi Sonia,
Love the Cats, they're great though if you can, I'd tone down the Orange just a tat.
African animals have a mystery to them, as does the Creepster (E) font, but I think that Oswald (D) would be easier to read.
Do you have to have the writing in Upper Case? I think it would look better in Lower Case like in the pictures.
Also I agree with Helen, a small pic of you in front of the Lioness would be good.
Jane

Hi Geoff-n-Jane,
Thank you for your input. I guess that the creepster font would be more suitable if my niche was a horror theme!

I will try to put a picture of myself in front of the lions and play with the transparency of the picture, so that it's not the focus, and that we can still see both pictures Lions and me).

Thanks again
Sonia

Please let us look at the results when you've finished.

No problem, It would be my pleasure, and maybe I could get your opinion on the finish product! Have a nice day! :)
Sonia

I agree with Loes about B.

D is easier to read so I would choose that.

All would look better without the shadow or at least change the transparency. :)

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for your feedback. The winners are (B) and (D) without Africa. It's nice to get feedback, because I must admit that after a while they all look the same to me! :)
Thanks again,
Sonia

Yes, I understand, hard to be objective when you've worked for hours at something! :)

Look like you been there too! :)

Oh yes!

B round with the black text, but I would delete the afrika shadow, that is not very clear and distracting

Hi Loes,
Thanks for your input, much appreciated. I will go with (B) for the logo and I will remove the African continent!
Sonia

Oke:) I think the African was to much:) Success Sonia

B & D are my picks!

Thanks JeffreyS for your feedback, It seems, that (D) is the winner!
Sonia

With your favicon can you get yourself on it too. It personalises it more. With your logos the Oswald is a lot easier for people to read. Ditto with the logo and the black font. I checked out the site. Does this colour combination suit your current colours. I love your idea with the beasties as the focus.

Hi Helen,
Thanks for your feedback. I will go with D. I was thinking of combining my header (D) with my current header image as a background instead of a white background! I will remove the African continent and put just the lions!

Thanks Helen for your input, much appreciated,
Sonia

You're welcome.

H Sonia. The image of behind the lions make the lion image unclear. I am not sure what you want to do about that. I like the yellow/orange color!

Hi mjpd,
I put in front of the lions the shape of Africa, since my website is about African safari. I only change the transparency of the image of Africa. Do you think I should remove that image in front of the lions?

Thanks for your feedback,
Sonia

No. The lions are what people are looking for and the continent would be distracting.
