Hi, I just noticed that when go to the screen to upload pictures, using the Site Content program, that all the pictures that I have used on my post in the past have a little CC

Hi Sondra, haven't checked my images. I do not like it but can't comment too much about it as I need to check this out first. I just read a post from Fleeky was an interesting read. Thanks for the share

So I just tested this myself. Interestingly enough it does show on images I upload in the thumbnail view but doesn't show on any of the images when added to my article (mine or the ones WA provides). I'm guessing it's an overlay applied to all thumbnail images in the tool for some reason.

Hi Scott,

I can see the benefits of having that information for photos we are down loading for people that don't know.

I want to make certain that I understand what is going on behind the scenes. I don't have the technical knowledge to look at the data attached to the file.

Ironically, this new feature was added after I used the platform to upload a photo that I have won prizes with and sold copies of (even though it's not that great...).

Regardless, in the future it may be safer to upload my own pictures directly in Wordpress.

Need to check mine now, thanks Sondra because I used a lot of my own

Hi, I'm glad to hear that you enjoy using a lot of your own photographs also.

Hopefully, we will hear something official that can ease our minds.

Noticed the same
Very unpleasant

WA is always trying to improve. That is a good thing. I just want to make sure that there is not some unintended consequence that may have been overlooked.

Yes, hence our post
Taking note, no complaint

If it is yours, and uploaded by you there should be no cc
It is theft of your image and copyrights

Fleeky, I have I told you lately how wonderful I think you are? If not, you are great!

Uh

🙃

Amen

Have you tried Amazon's native shopping ads yet? If so, how are they working out?

I saw them yesterday navigating through Amazon but haven't used them yet. If they work like that though that is awesome!!! Thank you fo sharing!!

You are welcome. Best wishes.

I have not had experience with Amazon native shopping ads.

They are easy to insert. The native shopping ads feature has a code that automatically looks at the content on the page and decides what to display based on the content of the post.

Hi Sondra,
I use amazon affiliate but have not used the native yet. I would also be curios to know.
Thanks

I suppose time will tell.

I do like them but not much results yet.

I liked the idea but have not had them long enough to know one way or the other. Thanks

I still have to try them...

If you try them and they work great, let us know. Best wishes.

Will do, Sondra.

James

Hi Sondra, I have been using them for some time, also have training about them. There are some people here who are doing really well with them, one person has only Native Ads and nothing else, and he is generating a very good income. But at my side, it has not been so good.

Thanks! I'll check out your training. I need to go back to your website also and read about your latest adventures.

Does anyone have suggestions about when a new page should be created on a website versus when a post would be more appropriate? I'm thinking that it would be easier to find c

Ahahaha! I just Googled this same question yesterday.

Great learning here from the community on this subject matter.
Thanks Sondra for starting this discussion. I've had the same moments deciding "post" or "page". Thanks to all of you in the community for your take on this subject.
Gary

I have broken my niche down into categories that I felt made good stand alone pages to add posts to as I gather more information on each topic. I identified certain aspects and made them into a running page where the posts will be added. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thank you. that does make sense. The running page is a great idea.

Pages are definitely for static, unchanging information (such as your about me, privacy policy, etc.) If you have things that are 'reference material' for your niche, those would also work best as pages as well.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! That is what I was leaning towards but was really second guessing myself.
