WA: Value, Convenience & a Bit More Testosterone

Even though my little airplane is still sitting at 300, I will be at the 2020 super affiliate conference in Vegas. Yes, I have been moving at the pace of an EXTRA SLOW turtle. I am extremely slow, methodical, detail oriented. If I stick my neck out, I typically know what I am talking about. I don't just talk.

This week, I have been learning about WA's real value proposition. WA provides an extra ordinary value for the dollar. The platform is extremely convenient. There is also a bit more testosterone here. OK, a bunch more. After all, not everyone wants to spend all the training time or work hours surrounded by beautiful pastel colors and pretty flowers.

Yesterday in a comment, I mentioned my current strategy of finding programs to review. I could only laugh when he responded and cautioned me to be careful not to get caught up in a scam. No, not me. On the contrary, over the last few days I have found myself in the almost mythical world of some most successful female bloggers.

Ladies that are earning $20,000 - $30,000 a month just on affiliate programs. Ad revenue is another category. Due to their affiliate marketing success, their training materials are a lucrative stream of income. And, then they seem to love their sponsorship income.

Their favorite type of sponsorhips seem to be from the travel industry. It sounds like the travel affiliate industries commissions stink, yet the sponsorships which come in the form of all expense paid trips to a variety of travel destinations make it worthwhile. I've been able to verify the legitimacy of those claims by watching what gets to be included in reviews of my home town, a vacation area. When you are working on sponsorships, you are limited in what you get to talk about. lol

Last year, one of the leading lady's income hit the $1.5 million mark. She decided going forward to STOP sharing detailed monthly income reports. She cited that it might actually discourage most people, because most people are not going to earn that amount. She also cited safety concerns. Mostly, she got to the point that she wanted more privacy. Some privacy... (I wonder if Kyle and Carson are able to relate?)

These ladies that I have been learning about are the real deal. They are also people that I would not want to upset by making statements that show my ignorance. I would not want to upset their "tribes" of loyal followers also. They know what they are talking about. When you read their blogs or watch a video, it seems like they are talking to you personally.

I have also discovered that if I have a question, they have a system in place to quickly respond to my exact question. Now, an assistant may be the one handling my question, but that is alright. After all, many of these ladies are truly living the nomad lifestyle. Yet, I was impressed this morning that I still had a response within 10 minutes to my query about getting day two of a free training re-sent.

What I have learned thus far:

1. WA is teaching us exactly what we need to know to build a successful affiliate marketing business. There is no secret. What WA is teaching us is solid.

Just as some people can cook better than other people; some people can run faster than other people; some people will do a better job of relating to their audiences than other people. Not everyone that works extra hard will be able to create a website that allows them to make a million dollars a year. Just like everyone that can run a mile is not going to be able to compete in the Olympics. Yet, that does not mean that you can not make money with your website.

To scale your website to higher profitability, you have to be willing to continually learn and network. Just wait and see. I'll be able to say, "I told you so."

2. What WA is teaching us is solid. Likewise, the things that these ultra successful bloggers are teaching their students is solid also. There is no real secret. They package their presentations slightly different. Their training materials are pretty pastel colors, with lovely fonts that appeal to us girls, and there are a few more flowers. Yet, the words and steps to creating a successful blog are basically the same.

It all start out. You need a niche. You need a self hosted website. You need to focus on your audience. Consistency. There is not a get-rich-quick thing..... You get the idea?

3. I have not had a chance to hang out in any of the private Facebook groups they have created. At this point, I am have to assume that are similar in popularity to WA's chat. After all, these ladies have a "tribe of loyal followers" just as most of us that love WA, Kyle, Carson and Jay are loyal also.

All that said, I have not found an affiliate marketing training program yet, that compares with WA in the VALUE and CONVIENCE. In some ways, WA is like an affiliate marketing tool box.

Each of us have the ability to pick and choose which tools we want to use. We also have the ability to choose what frequency we want to use the different tools.

- Hosting: The highly successful female blogger 's that I have reviewed so far all recommend the same hosting package. That particular package allows its influencers to brand their landing page by putting a picture of themselves on it. The cheapest hosting package recommended, costs $2.75 per month if you purchase 3 years at one time. That works to $99 for one website. That price will include the domain name - which they put a $15 value on. Free SSL certificate also.

Here at WA, we do need to purchase our own domain names. I bought mine cheaper than WA charges, yet after two years the price has gotten jacked up so much that "extortion" is the word that comes to mind. One of my to do's this week is to see what will be required to transfer it (I think is the word) to WA before I have to renew them next month.

We do not have to pay for hosting either.

(I have not seen all of the course pricing yet. The ones that say upfront are running around $190 or so plus the cost of the hosting and domain name)

-Technical Website Support: If we choose to use WA to host our websites, they also provide technical support. That service is already covered in our fees. I have tried out a couple of other hosting platforms to host some of my websites. I am aware of a thing called "C-Panel access" Yet even after two years, it confused me and I try to avoid working in it for fear of messing something up. For those of us that are not techie types, WA hosting is perfect.

It may be slightly more difficult to build and operating a new website over a platform like Wix or Weebly or Wordpress.com. None of these websites are EVER recommend by WA or the other mega successful affiliate marketers. Yet the ability to build and host websites here is WA is still MUCH easier than attempting to do it alone on the other popular website hosting packages out there.

Again...super techie people may prefer that Cpanel access. As a WA member, we can host our websites where ever we want. We can also move our websites to WA hosting if we want and we can move them away. Our websites are our websites.

Convenience - This is an area within WA that is just getting better and better. Not everyone will want to use all of these tools, but they are available.

1. You only have to go to one website (my.wealthyaffiliate.com) to have access to the training, the WA blog platform and the chat. The WA blog platform and the chat, give you access to community support. Most of the other affiliate marketing training programs that I have encountered that provide "good training" require you to go their Facebook group.

2. The WA blogging system, allows you the ability to practice blogging and posting. It allows you to learn how to engage with people commenting on your posts. It allows you to learn how to write good titles. It allows you to learn how to write for your target audience. It also allows this to occur in a SPAM free environment, which further encourages WA members to participate.

3. Website Site Manager: WA gives us the ability to host up to 25 websites on the platform. I find the ability to quickly glance at all of my websites and to see their current "health" a plus.

From a beginner affiliate marketer's standpoint, the ability to host 25 websites does create an environment that can be counter-productive to those of us that are prone to have problems focusing. For me personally, this is the equivalent of taking someone that is perpetually having challenges controlling their weight and locating their office inside an ice cream shop. IN the ice cream shop, they should only eat a little of one flavor, but the price they pay to be their will allow them to have up to 25 free scoops. Not 26, just 25....

Eventually, if we really want to succeed; we learn to avoid the temptation of trying to work on too many websites at one time. Just as the person would learn that eating 25 scoops of different ice creams really isn't all that great.

4. Ability to surround ourselves with multiple people that inspire us to do better.

The motivational speaker, Tony Robbins says, "The people you surround yourself with have a large impact on reaching your goals."

The time we spend on the WA platform, allows each of us to spend time learning from countless successful people that can motivate us and inspire us. Some people inspire us by the success they have achieved. Others inspire us by their creativity. Yet, others inspire us by their ability to face some of life's most difficult challenges - these might include health challenges, medical scares, living through earth quakes and seemingly unending aftershocks, and/or the loss of a loved one.

Yes, we can and hopefully should still find inspiration from people outside of WA also. For example, I know that my reviewing the training programs offered by some ultra successful lady bloggers recently has given me some ideas of how to balance with my Colorado home and ranch lifestyle website with my desires to help people build profitable online business.

5. Site content features -

Withing the WA platform, we also have access to the site content features:

These include the goal tracking device - which I like.

The ability to write content - which I have come to like.

Grammar check & spell check - I personally need as many checkers as possible. Running it more than once, catches different mistakes.

Easy access to photos that are free for public use.

Publishing to Wordpress and then getting notified when article has been indexed by Google.

With the push of a button, being able to go directly to Wordpress after I have published to make the final "tweaks" directly inside of Wordpress.

Ability to request comments for selected articles.

Dang.... I just noticed the time. It is almost time for me to open the doors to my little brick and mortar little shop, that I opened as result of inspiration that my "hanging out" aspiring entrepreneurs here at WA. This WA post was intended to be my outline for my new and improved WA review....... I never realized how easy it is to talk about the benefits of WA.

6. WA platforms provides us with a lot more courses, training & new webinars than our competitors are able to provide. (Or at least the most worthy competitors that I have found thus far.)

So I must stop thinking about all the VALUE and CONVIENCE that WA provides us as we learn about building and growing affiliate marketing business.

Now, I do wonder if Kyle started flashing some pictures of pink or blue pastel colored WA Swag, if that might just be what it takes to motivate a few more ladies to make it to Vegas 2020? There are a lot of highly successful female affiliate marketers out there.... This is not guys only game.... Ladies can be just as successful.
