If you want your business to grow and thrive, it needs to help people somehow. The more people you can serve, the more income your business will generate. Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Steve Jobs (Apple) became very wealthy because they created and sold products that a lot of people find very useful. Sam Walton understood that people want to save money when they need to purchase the basic things they want. Thus, he became very wealthy with the WalMart stores. Generally speaking, people sa

1. Treat your blogging just like you would a "real" job. I just read Stela's time management post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... . She didn't mince words when she said that if we are serious about writing, blogging and our online business, that we will treat it like a that someone is paying us to do. When we were paid to go to work, we made time to go to work. 2. Be thankful for the good things in your life. As I write this blog post, I'm also watching the beautiful sunrise. It is

As you build your business, you will meet people that will enjoy telling you that you are wasting your time. They will have a list of all the reasons why it can’t be done. Yet, take time to look around at all of the successful businesses in your neighborhood, town, city, state, country. Look at all of the successful online businesses. Once upon a time, some people tried to convince the founders of those businesses that it couldn’t be done. The people that said it could NOT

I’m about to celebrate my 8 month anniversary as a Wealthy Affiliate member. Back in November, a bookkeeping client/friend of mine was making a $299 monthly payment to a company for an online marketing training program. I was skeptical and concerned that he was getting ripped off. While researching that particular program, I stumbled upon the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) training program. To make a long story short, I decided that I wanted to learn more about affiliate marketing. I al

This morning I stumbled across an article in Entrepreneur magazine that discussed building sustainable businesses. It pointed out that some people get fad and trends confused. Building a business off of a fad is not sustainable . Yet following a trend can be a good thing. According to Faith Popcorn, a marketing consultant, “fads are about products, whereas trends are about what drives consumers to buy products.” As affiliate marketers, we are in the position to capitalize on

On of the things that Kyle teaches us to do early on is to visit successful websites and blogs in the niche that we are planning to work in. He teaches us that those sites will be a good source of inspiration. In doing so, I've explored a number of blogs that belong to successful affiliate marketers and successful online entrepreneurs. I've noticed multiple people taking about going going to industry related conferences and trade expos. That contributes to their subject matter knowledge. It als

Last Saturday, a 3 month old affilate marketing blog aimed at the "make money online" niche sold for $2,300 on Flippa. This seller, Blackberry Girl, may not have been all that happy. This is because back in January, 2017, she had sold a different website with a make money theme for $12,000. That site was about 9 months old. Then again, she could be ecstatic because she didn' spend as much time on the most recent website. Time is money. I'm confident that the seller was, if not still i

Sometimes we don’t fully appreciate the good things in our life. Wealthy Affiliates anti-spam rules as an example. Wealthy Affiliates anti-spam rules are designed to allow us to be able to learn and interact with each other without getting bombarded by advertisements and/or service offers. I didn’t realize how nice the lack of advertising was until I visited a forum where there were not any anti-spam rules.Last weekend, I was reading some articles and blog posts on a very popular e-

For those of you that are frustrated about how long it takes to achieve success sometimes, consider this quote: Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.--Thomas Jefferson Sondra

Here is a motivational thought for the day. Instead of simply reading it, I decided to share it. In order to succeed, we must grow. To grow, we must endure the pain of doing what we fear. By meeting and conquering the fear, we pass through to success.Control fear or fear controls you. It’s a hard rule but a fair one, for it applies equally to us all. --Danielle KennedyI hope that you have a productive and wonderful day today. Sondra
