Kyle is Right - My Affiliate Income Doubled

Basically, when we start a new website, our website's traffic stream will be tiny. The fish (income) will be nonexistent because the stream of traffic is too small to support any fish.
It like we are standing at the top of a mountain, looking at a small trickle of water. Yet as time goes by, that little bitty trickle of water or website traffic starts picking up as it flows down from the top of a mountain. If you have the perseverance to follow the WA training, keep learning and keep producing and content, that small trickle will become a stream. Eventually, it becomes a river.
I have clung to that concept and trusted Kyle and the WA program. Just last month, I was almost laughing at my Amazon Affiliate earnings. Like others, I was thrilled to be celebrating the small amounts. Those small amounts were something that showed the WA training was working. I closed out 2017 with $7.15.
This week, I've been moving closer to setting up my own Amazon seller account. Over the last six months, I've been "collecting" items that can be resold at a substantial markup. The things that we learn here on WA can be applied to marketing our own products also. When I logged onto Amazon yesterday, I was shocked to discover that I have earned $8.94 of affliliate income this month. So, two weeks into 2018, I have already exceeded my affiliate income from all of last year. Wow.
That is exciting. I did not do anything exceptional or out of the ordinary in this last two weeks. My little trickle is starting to gain some momentum. I've been able to do this despite having severe lack of "focus" issues.
I am loooking forward to what is going to happen when I force myself to complete all of the certification courses and the WA boot camp. (I have multiple websites and I'm trying to get them all to same stage of my training before I progress to the next step. lol ). I look forward to seeing what my income will look like if I focus on affiliate marketing programs that pay better than Amazon does.
I have volunteered to be part of Kyle's super WA affiliate program. However, I'm not the least bit concerned if I don't get selected to participate. Kyle and Carson have already given us the tools we need to succeed in affilate marketing. We just need to be willing to follow them. I choose to do so. However, if I am selected, I think it will be a fun to experience the camaraderie and accountability the super affiliate group will offer. DO NOT DESPAIR if you miss out or don't have time to participate. They have already given us what we need to build a successful business.
Bottom Line: When we first start our WA membership, we are all super excited about the possibilities. Then, for the majority of us - we start to realize that starting an affiliate marketing takes more time than we hoped for. Yet, if we stick with the WA program, follow the training as closely as possible, and don't give up, we will start seeing results. They start small at first. Yet, when you least expect it - the momentum will start picking up. I recommend purchasing the annual WA membership because it 1) saves you money compared to the monthly plan. Plus 2) The annual plan forces you to stick around during the times you get frustrated because your traffic and income stream is just a trickle. Trust Kyle when he says that the trickle will turn into a river if you give it enough time and continue to add content to your website.

Thank you! I agree that every dollar is a victory to be celebrated. If we don't appreciate the small amounts, we can't fully appreciate the larger amounts either.
It's just learning the skills. I know it's realistic but a newbie will always linger on the how to do this and that.
True. Yet, I'm still learning and I still have some fears to overcome. Yet, I hope that I can help inspire others to refuse to give up when nothing seems to be happening.
We all have that fear. The fear of not being successful in our online business. Maybe because we are not sure of what we will do. However, if we have seen success in one of our efforts that give us the inspiration to continue learning the ins and out of this venture

Great analogy Mike! To think about it, I'm just now starting to see a big increase in my income for the chicken egg sales. The process has taken almost as long as earning income from the websites. At least with the websites, I don't have to go outside in 15 degree weather to feed them like I'm about to do as soon as I finish this comment.
