Have you prepared a written blogging plan for the 4th quarter yet?
At this point in time, my primary source of income is from selling Colorado homes on land, farms & ranches. My real estate business provides a nice source of income while I am building my affiliate marketing business. The things that I have been learning here at Wealthy Affiliate about SEO and online marketing certainly applies to my real estate business. At the same time, there are things that I have learned from my real estate blogging that has benefited my affiliate marketing.
For example, I am a member of Active Rain, a real estate blogging community. Last month, we were challenged to create a 4th quarter marketing plan. As I worked on the plan last weekend, I realized that it is possibly even more important for me to develop a written plan for my affiliate marketing business.
In the United States, our busiest shopping season will be starting very soon. Are you prepared? If not, I highly encourage that you take an hour or so and write out a blogging plan for the next three months.
Remember the acronym SMART. Make sure the items on your plan are:
- Specific
- Measurable
- Attainable
- Relevant
- Time (you need to know what day or week that you want have the tasks completed)
Some people do well with "mental" plans or "informal" plans. Once upon a time, I thought I didn't need a formal written plan. Yet, I have come to realize that I am more productive when I can check off the things on my written plan.
Create a plan that works for you. The most important thing is that the plan helps stay on track of creating content for your website.
Well, I am trying to get back into the habit of blogging regularly on Wealthy Affiliate. One down for October.

That is a great post-Sondra. I never thought about doing anything like this before. I have to think about doing something like because I wouldn't know where to start.
Even though I have been with WA for 6 months I still am fairly new to blogging in other words I have never blogged before WA. I am still learning. I guess we are all learning.
