Affiliate Marketing: Success in a Year or Less? Yes, it is possible.
People frequently ask, "How long will it be before I start earning money with affiliate marketing?" As a former CPA, I tend to be conservative. I generally suggest that it may take a couple of years. Yet, this morning I was personally encouraged by the stories of two WA members that have done very well in less than a year.

First: The importance of being financially conservative. My story.
As far as I go, I haven't focused and followed the training as well as I should have. So, while I've made some money it isn't nearly as much as these dedicated and motivated individuals that have followed the WA training.
I discovered WA this time last year. As of today, I am two days shy of my one year anniversary as a premium member. Up until this morning, I was on the month to month plan. Even though I was paying $49 a month, I don't regret spending the money. However, I do feel that the $299 special that I just paid for is a much wiser purchase compared to paying monthly.
In my last post, I mentioned that I've made less than $10 from my affiliate marketing efforts so far. Yet, I truly believe this training works if people will actually do what they are taught. I wouldn't have made the money I had if the system didn't work.
My biggest challenge has been focusing on one website. I'm passionate about too many things and have finally simply accepted that I will achieve true success at a much slower pace if I continue to insist on working on multiple websites. As a business owner, it is my choice.
I'm enjoying the process regardless. Working on the websites has been a fun and educational challenge that keeps me engaged. Working on my own businesses causes me to look forward to getting up each morning. Working on my own businesses also makes it to where I don't want to go to bed at night until I just can't keep my eyes open.

Three WA Success Stories; Two of Whom have Done Extremely Well in Less Than a Year
Every day, I try to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour reading other people's posts and just cruising the internet.
This morning, I stumbled across three Wealthy Affiliate members success stories. Two of the members have achieved remarkable success even though they have been premium members for less than a year.
1. Eric Cantu - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... It is my understanding that Eric joined WA in January of this year. At the beginning on November, 11 months later, he had helped enough aspiring entrepreneurs to join WA that he received his invite to Las Vegas.
Eric lives and works in Texas. He has a pretty cool story about how his online affiliate marketing business was still creating passive income even when his area was dealing with Hurricane Harvey problems.
2. Brandon Cox and I both joined WA about the same time last year. He didn't upgrade to a premium membership until February 2017. He reports that he has already made more than 10x the cost of his premium membership from WA referrals. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...

This morning, as I was cleaning out Black Friday sales emails, I stumbled across one of Clickbank University's Black Friday promos. I signed up with Clickbank months ago. However, I was turned off by the way I felt like I was getting funneled into their training program. Yet this morning, my curiosity got the better of me. I found myself wondering if their training was worthwhile.
So I Googled it. I choose to read the first review on Google that was not an ad.
As I read the review, I found myself hoping that it was written by a WA member. The review seemed to be objective and very well done. It helped me understand who would most benefit from their training. (It isn't affiliate marketers.).
I was thrilled to discover the review was indeed written by Nathaniel a WA member that is a full time affiliate marketer. He is obviously making enough to support his family, which is what most of us aspire to be able to do.
If you take time to read Nathaniel's WA blog, he shares a list of early 2017 success stories. It is a good one. I won't share it here because I want to encourage you to visit his profile.

The bottom line: Even though I don't like spending money if I can avoid it, the WA premium membership is worth the money. I'm glad that I upgraded.
Most truly successful people are humble. They are not going to tell everyone exactly how much they are making because that kind of information should be kept private. Yet, they do give little hints meant to encourage and inspire people that are considering starting an internet marketing business. The WA training system does work.
If you are not already a premium member, I recommend you give the WA training a chance so that you can build your own business.
Every day, I try to spend at least 30 minutes to an hour reading other people's posts on the internet.
Do as the WA training says. Focus on one website if at all possible. Don't do as I have done.
