Ok, so I do have the global tag installed with GP Elements with a hook. I have been using google analytics since June 2020 and I can see data in universal analytics. Why can't

Hi

You may want to install Google Analytics if not done so already.

The Seo framework

https://theseoframework.com/docs/improve-your-pages/
https://theseoframework.com/docs/
https://theseoframework.com/docs/seo-data-migration/ You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme. How to insert code for Google Analytics

=======================

AIO SEO > General Settings > Webmaster tools tab > Add the “whole code” to the miscellaneous verification section and save changes.

Then I go here http://gachecker.com/ verify my tracking code is working.

Tutorials ========================

WA recommends the SEO framework.

However if you are already using AIOSEO, then you can carry on using. as perhaps you may want to have a new niche site, you may then use the SEO framework, save messing up site (Kyle's recommendation).

You may also see Kyle’s comment on below resource discussion thread Hope this helps.

Hope you'd able figure it out.

Here's an introduction to GA4 Jay's training on GA4

Not quite sur what problems you are having, but there is lot of tracing about GA 4 under training HQ.

The above one is by Kyle.

Hope it helps.

Ok, to clarify right away, I don't work to get backlinks at all, as per good SEO practices defended at WA. But we all know we get them anyway, once your website starts having s

You can do this via Google, and it's somewhat straightforward. You make a spreadsheet of bad individual URLs or entire domains, then submit the document to Google. HOWEVER, most people don't need to do this. Google is very smart, and can see if links are spam. Everyone in the world has spam links to their domain. Whatever garbage links are pointing to your domain right now are almost certainly having zero effect.

The only time I would consider this is if you had a mega huge website undergoing a sophisticated negative SEO attack, and then it would be a monthly thing you'd probably have to do going forward. Right now, I don't think it's worth your time!

Thanks, really helpful answer :)

Hello all,

As I have not been having great success with email marketing, or growing my mailing list, I was wondering if web push notifications might bring more traffic to

I hope you have better success trying something like this, Sofia!

Jeff

Thank you ;)

You're very welcome, Sofia! 😎👍👍

Hey Sofia
I have tried facebook messenger and sms marketing and found them useful, then people can get back to me when they can vs annoying web notification or a cold call. I establish connection with them and assess circumstances and take it from there. Each person situation is different, so having to evaluate each on its merit basis.
Wishing you well and a terrific day.

How do you use facebook messenger? Any source of info you can point me to?

Thanks.
Sofia

I found you this resource that explains it better

https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/7-facebook-messenger-marketing-tips-pros/

Thank you, will check it. :)

Have you tried Aweber?

I use Aweber for email marketing and was checking out their web push content. Then I came here to know what people think :)

Do you mean, ttry Aweber for web push?

Thanks, Sofia

Hi

Unlike emails, a push notification doesn’t require the user to open a separate app before seeing a message. Instead, that message is delivered directly to a personal device—their computer screen or mobile device—and instantly seen by the recipient.

Have you also considered sms marketing?

I would not send links right away vs first establishing rapport IMO

You are to meet them where they are at.

No, I haven't read about sms marketing, but I'll take a look into it. Any recomendations of where I can find useful info?

Thanks.

Hi, you may try below link

Yes, that's totally fine to include "keywords" from other articles you publish. Google is looking at what the FOCUS of your blog post is, they are not restricting your language to only be one keyword per post.

In my opinion, having a section called "Lard in soap" on your blog post about "where can I buy pure lard" would be a great internal linking opportunity. You can do a small writeup about lard in soap, then link to your extensive blog post on the topic. It's great when you can link to yourself as an authority resource on a topic :)

Hello Nathaniell thanks for the input.

Not sure if I explained myself well or understood your reply. The article is "Lard in Soap" and it's new. There is no article called "where can I buy pure lard".

I don't want to write a whole post about "where can I buy pure lard" I don't have enough to say about it. Besides, this is a keyword with very few searches per month, not worth it a dedicated post (see the first reply from Chrystopher).

So I was asking if I could add a section called "where can I buy pure lard" (no post, just a section with a couple of paragraphs) inside the post "Lard In Soap".

As per what you are saying and other replies, it's ok to do it, and the "Lard In Soap" post will probably be ranked in both keywords, this is my understanding.

The internal linking will be with the recipe with lard, my top1 post in organic searches ;) I'll probably just interlink both, I do that very often.

BTW the post "Lard In Soap" is posted and is my latest one if you want to check it on my website :D

Sofia

I think you might have a winner, Sofia!

This post here may help. Be sure to resubmit it to Google for indexing when you add the fresh part.

Candy Benn

Thanks for your help, both the post and chapter are new :) they will rank at same time

No it won't hurt. I would go ahead and add it.

I'd like to know if anyone here has ideas on how to monetize a food blog with recipes only?

Much appreciated for your help.

Thanks,

Sofia

Hi, you may view step 5 of below link how to best monetize your food blog

https://www.wpbeginner.com/start-a-wordpress-blog/food-blog-recipes/

You've received some good answers already. I would add to consider creating cookbooks from your recipes. You can sell direct from your website or on Amazon.

Thanks a lot, good idea!

Hi Sofia, I was wondering if you couldn't use the new food companies like Hello Fresh, and Chef's Plate. I don't know if they have affiliate programs but its worth a look.
And you could also use Amazon, say if you are doing a recipe for making pasta. You would use some kind of pasta maker. You could promote the brands that you use in your kitchen yourself(equipment and food products) and point your readers to those products through Amazon.

Will look into it, thanks!!! :)
