For the last few days I receive this strange emails. I never requested any seo improvment or have keyword issues. Is this just spam or something to worrie about?

Anybody else get those emails? Who gave my email adress to those individuals? They seem to spread my address fast enough. Just ignore them?

Please share your experience.

Thanks in adance Jude

Hi Jude, comes with the territory.

Given the current situation spammers and some agency's are going hard out touting for business.

We will always get some spam emails., learning how to manage them can be key.

If we have an email on our sites better to have it on a contact page, along with captcha.

If we are hosting on WA make sure we have Site Protect ( spam blocker ) switched on.

- websites.
-site manager.
-select your site.
- details.

Scroll down to Site Protect switch on.

Thanks for some great tips here Alex, very helpful indeed. I don't have a contact page yet and no captcha set up yet. This might have to go on my to do list.
I have my email on all my articles at the very bottom, I better change that maybe?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Jude
I notice that you have your email address listed on your website.
This is good for people to be able to contact you but unfortunately it makes it easy for spammers to collect your email address and add it to their junk email lists.

It’s better to have a contact form on your site and then have a plugin like akismet which blocks spam emails.

Regards
Dave

No worries Jude.
You'll get much less spam mail if you use a contact form and a spam blocker plugin

Cheers

great Dave, I will get onto this and remove the email addresses on the website. Every day we learn something new.
I discovered yesterday my site speed is terrible 😱. I downloaded lazy load as recommended but it is still quite bad. So an other challenge there for me leaning about changes images before using for my site 😆
I won't get bored quick here lol.
Have a great day. jude

Hey Jude,

Once you create a business online you will find you receive more and more spam, so having an email server that is tough on spam helps.

Here's a video for you: Marking spam messages as spam helps to lessen them somewhat.

Some IMers (internet marketers) get 100s of spam messages daily.

Hope you find this helpful.
