Visiting other people's sites, especially those owned by non-WA members, I usually see a tiny pop up asking whether I will allow or "don't allow" push notifications. Most of the time, I decline.

What's that for? The push notifications.

Some kind of a Live Chat?

It is just for updates, new products, stuff like that. I never allow them either.

There's no lesson in here yet discussing the installation of that tool for our sites. After posting this question, I made a research and started to appreciate it, as it allows you to notify your readers about a new blog post of yours via browser. But what concerns me is, does it affect page loading speed? Because, in the websites that I see them installed, the loading speed is horrible.

It does slow down your speed a little. You can use an outside program to do it that links to your site like Hootsuite. It will give them emails and social media posts, but not notifications straight to their desktop, well I know the free edition does not.
