Hi everyone

A very sad day here, my boss and employer passed away early this morning.

He was an awesome man, a complete extrovert, and larger than life in every way. As a much loved and highly regarded economist in South Africa for the last 3 decades, there are many tributes and posts circulating online right now.

His wife has asked me to gather all the posts and tributes being shared online so she can create a book for his son.

Can anyone help me with the simplest and most cost-effective way to do this, please?

Many thanks
Louise

Hi Louise
Condolences to all who are affected.

Trish has given you some great ideas...
in addition, you might need somewhere to collect the tributes together... personally I use notion.so but has a bit of a learning curve.

Evernote (get the free version) is not so versatile, but for this purpose is easier to learn and has an excellent webclipper so you can easily collect them all together in one place.

Hey Louise,

YOU MENTIONED
"His wife has asked me to gather all the posts and tributes being shared online..."

MY RESPONSE
My condolence for your loss.

Search using your boss' name SHOULD bring up all of the online tributes published so far, plus anything else where your boss' name is mentioned.

You could also sign into Facebook, and use their search option, in case some tributes are only on FB and not found in Google search results.

Doing the same search tomorrow, and later on... you may discover a few more tributes, as the word spreads about your boss' passing.

Hope I have answered your question, and that this helps you.

Thank you so much, Trish.

I have set up a Google alert. There are SO MANY tributes,

He truly was an extraordinary man, brilliant academically, and had incredible insight. He was loved by everyone who knew him and loved equally in return.

I will keep doing searches on different social media as time passes.

For now, I'm heading home. Dealing with the media today has been challenging.

Blessings

Sorry to hear of this great loss.

Here are some helpful WA blogs regarding book writing. Publishing on Amazon seems to be the most economical way. We know that Mel Waller of WA does a lot of book publishing and has written many blogs for it.
