Hi I was following Kyles idea to set up pinterest and add 10 WA members, well for some reason i have been aimed at setting up a business account. I am still trying to figure out how to add pins to my board.
Can someone advise please?
It looks like I will be billed for £10

Hi There, the only way Pinterest can bill you is if you set up a payment method under settings. If you did this then I winder if you hit promote on a pin and didn’t mean to. But you indicated you didn’t know hoe to post a pin. I’m confused over this one.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't set up anything, it was just staring me in the face £10 will be billed, assuming I do an add. I did add a picture on one of my projects. That was it, I didn't do anything else.

Will check out training on pinterest. :-)

That is so strange. I smell a scam but not if it is within Pinterest. Only if it was in an email that said it was sent from Pinterest. And yes we do have to make mistakes to learn. I have made more than I care to count. We are here to help when you need.

Julia, just one more thing. A pinterest business account, when you claim your website, allows your pins to go directly back to your site. This in turn increases traffic and will produce backlinks. For a business it is a great tool to use.

Hi Julia,

You've got some great answers here.
When I turned my personal account to business on Pinterest, I didn't get billed for anything. Maybe you are confused about it with ads campaign?

Jay has a full month of Live training back in February. You can check it out by clicking the Live Events tab under your profile picture and search for training for Pinterest.

All the best,

I have a business account on Pinterest. As far as I have experienced, the main difference is that you have more options in the business account. I do not know why you will be billed for 10 pounds though , because the change to business and the use of it is free if you are not doing ads. Each ad will cost you money.

Hi Roysin, I haven't clicked anything yet, funny thing is I don't have anything to do adverts for! There is a lot of things in the air that are not finished yet.

Then you should be safe, Julia. The Pinterest training with Jay is very good.
