A couple of months ago Themrj asked a similar question here:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/social-engagement-...

I just want to elaborate on it a little bit and ask if that's OK to do what I'm proposing.

My idea is to create a blog post here at WA, which purpose will be to ask members of our community to click those social media buttons on a specific page. It will work like this:

1. I put a link to a page on my Website (in comments), on which I want to see a "social boost" (read: an increase in number of Likes, Shares, +1s, etc.) and ask WA members to visit my page and do it.

2. I then click social media buttons on at least 10 pages posted by other WA members in the comments of this post.

3. Our Websites rank better in search engines and we become more successful online.

Now, I'm not sure if it's a good idea and if it will actually work as intended, as there's probably a good reason to why there's no such post here. Maybe I just missed it, so please point me out if you know of one.

Let me know what you think about it and if there are no rules against it I'll gladly create this post.

I like your idea. I just have to get the social media buttons on my website, which I have not done. Yet. s

Ahh, I still haven't done that post - got my hands full for the whole week. I also need to install a social buttons plugin on my new site, but that's a matter of a few minutes. Hopefully I'll do the post tomorrow :)

Anyway, thanks for supporting my idea, Shary!

I can't see a reason why it won't work. Set it up and I am in

You have had only one reply. Make sure it is right before you go ahead. Hate to waste your time with such a small response

Well, one is probably as good as 10. Also the title of my question might not be clear enough. I can try posting another question or I'll just go for it and see what happens - not that I will spend a lot of time on it and I can always delete it if something goes wrong.

Besides, I checked for this kind of post pretty thoroughly and couldn't find anything bad. Nothing good either, but that may very well mean that nobody's created such a post before.

Anyway, I'll risk it :)
