I just got as notice from Google about content spam and they don't even say which post it is. Does anyone know what this means? Are we allowed to put a review post for a product on Google Plus or not? Trying to abide by their rules.

Thanks! :-)

Interesting point about affiliate links in posts being the issue. Rob this could be the case, I'd play it safe and remove the shared content on Google+ which has affiliate links. Keep the content on your site though.

I personally find all my sales come from Google itself anyway, not Google+ so it's no big deal to do this.

I have seen others share there web site on G+, and I have mine on there. Maybe that's ok so that you can link to your site, but no affiliate links. Do you think that's the case?

I do believe that you can link to your product review posts from your regular posts but not to a direct affiliate product link.

Hey Rob,

Many a member has asked this very question and it seems that if a post or page is stuffed with affiliate links, Google+ does not like it when we share those posts.

Google search "why is google+ warning me" (without the quotation marks, of course) and you will see several posts offered in the search results that attempt to explain this issue.

Hope you find this helpful.

Interesting question Rob. I was about to post a review post on my site and then onto Google+. I'll wait now until you get an answer. Jim
